Hello there, this is my first time writing a review for this restaurant. During my last visit, I was shocked to find a cockroach on my plate while eating. As a shy and introverted person, I didn't react as I normally would have. I used to love the food at this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was ruined by this incident. I even had to double-check with my sister to make sure I wasn't mistaken, and indeed, it was a cockroach.
Upon informing my father, he called someone at the restaurant and informed them about the insect on my food. They checked the food and looked for the person who served us. However, they kept reasoning out that it was normal for all food restaurants in the world. They didn't even look sorry or offer any compensation and blatantly told us that we wouldn't have to pay for my food only. I was even the one who felt shy with the situation.

The ayam with coconut shredded was really good I truly enjoyed it! The staff seemed to know what I needed even before I asked extra rice, gloves, and air kosong which I really appreciate.
Honestly, the food was great overall. But the environment could use some improvement. Maybe with a bit of renovation or support from investors, this restaurant could become even more popular.
The sayur peria, telur ikan, and what I think is ayam percik (not sure of the exact name 😅) were all delicious, and the prices were very affordable.
It’s definitely worth a try! Just a few suggestions for improvement: make the place cleaner, label the food properly on the menu, and include prices and drink options.

Read moreBest Value for money on Muslim Halal Food. I enjoy always the malaysian bread called Roti Bomb. Its 35 pesos per pc. And you can select a dip either condensed milk or curry sauce. I have been coming here for the past +5 years whenever i go to Quiapo church. The place is very clean and even have 2 washing station to clean your hands.
Visited again this Halal Restaurant in Quiapo today, and found out they have a Coffee Shop serving again their signature handmade ROTI bread. And the Master Roti Chef Gey (pronounced as JAY) is back on cooking ROTI bread.
