Overpriced and very mediocre food. The food choices are really lacking at Solaire.
This was one of the few choices left after the show ended.
The sandwiches aren't fresh at all. Whatever is available on display is what is available to order. They will not make any more new sandwiches even if requested.
Therefore, we ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich and rueben. The avocado turkey sandwich tasted okay but could use more turkey. It was a little dry and could have used more mustard. The rueben was disappointing. It was extremely salty and there was just one single slice of pastrami in the sandwich!! I cant imagine if they were more generous and added more slices of pastrami. It would be a salt bomb.
The pastries definitely looked like better options than sandwiches. Choose those over the sandwhiches.
No service water available which is odd. I guess they want you to purchase their astronomically overpriced water.
Despite limited food choices here at Solaire, I would still not recommend this place.

Read moreAfter watching the 2pm Hamilton show today, we decided to get a quick snack here. Instead of having the greens as side dish for our sandwich, we were wrongly given chips. We mentioned it to the waiter but did not bother replacing the chips. Some of the chips tasted bad like it was fried in rancid oil. My iced cafe americano was unintentionally (which I hoped for) mixed with black lemon tea coz it tasted really sour. They replaced it afterwards. The waiter already picked the number from our table assuming that all of our orders were already served until I ran after him and called his attention, since 2 of our orders weren’t served yet. We recognize that there were a lot of customers this afternoon but the blunders that we have experienced were unacceptable. The café is located inside Solaire hotel which caters to a lot of foreign guests. Never recommending this café except when there are no shows in the theater at Solaire so that they could cater to a few number of customers and get the orders and their...
Read moreWas looking for a place to have snacks and we walked around the Patisserie. We saw their sandwich and ice cream display and decided to eat here. The place is always full with patrons who are sitting and just probably for a show they are going to watch. Just like us, as it is conveniently located at the foot of the escalator going towards the theater area. Eating here was good choice because we liked everything we ordered The Pigs in Blanket was excellent. And as someone who loves bread and goes around trying sausage rolls, sausage croissants and sausage pretzels, these by far are the best I have ever had. The bread was flaky and you can taste the sesame seeds. It is also served with a side of dijonnaise. Yum! I also recommend the Croque Monsieur and the Salmon Piadina, which by the way was huge. Definitely good for 2. My son liked the peanut butter oreo ice cream which was served with a...
