"I want a refund"
04/16/2024 13:07 the setup was calm, mostly vacant seats and table's, a party of three. we made our order for 1 Halo2x, 1 Pork Chao Fan, 2 Chicken Lauriat. After 2 Mins we received 3 Soda drinks and the Halo2x, An hour later 14:07 still have not received our food. Yet I have not touch the Desert since I came to the airport on an Empty stomach, and I needed some solids first. Never got it and other group of people that ordered after us some got serve with they're orders. My flight was @ 15:00. Boarding the plane starts @ 14:15, I had to leave. I Ask for a refund politely then I got past around with the front desk Ladies, they all ask same question's what was wrong and informed them of the situation. which I have told them 4 times over and over and none could seem to give me an answer or a solution. Until the last Lady from afar holler at me if I have gotten my food yet, Which I answered with a raised voice, because she was standing about 3 yards away. "No I have Not, and I WANT A REFUND." and on that brief moment, it kinda felt that time has stop because everyone looked at me in utter shock of what they have heard. The Crew, the other customers in line, the other customers inquiring about they're order that still have not gotten, and the other people sitting on the tables... In the end, I got refunded. and I insisted on paying for the Halo2x since it made it all the way to my table even though it was not consume.
The Last young Lady who spoke to me ask for an apology, with an excuse of not having enough chicken prepared in time. I dont blame her and I would like to apologize if my tone of voice may have sound offensive. I really did not want to embarrass her and make a scene. but in the unfortunate turn of events, I may had gotten everyone's attention in the vicinity, Including the passerbys.
I been craving for a Chowking meal and a Halo2x, I boarded my flight out the country with an empty tummy.

Read moreFood was so so but we didnt expect much from airport meals. But the service is terrible. I made my order on 5:35pm (1/8/2023) and there is no other customers except for me and my friends. My friends' order came first which was fine, we had different things. Then the customer that came after me (3 groups of customers) their meal all came before mine. Whilst waiting, I asked the waitress regarding my meal, she just said she will check and went away. Next thing I know, I wait for 30minutes and no food is served. At that time there is no other waiting customers and the staff are chatting doing nothing. I went to the counter to ask and the cashier actually need to ask for my receipt. Which meant they must have forgotten about my order. This is so terrible and worst its not even a busy day. There is so much empty tables. At first when I was ordering, the cashier (lady) was busy answering another staff (guy) and for a few times I have to remind her can I order? She kept ignoring and keep on chatting with the guy. I decided to give Chowking another try after about 10 years, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. I was happy to see a branch at NAIA Terminal 3, but that excitement quickly faded.
First off, there was a long queue, and to my surprise, only one cashier was open despite the heavy foot traffic. After patiently waiting in line for what felt like almost an hour, most of the items on the menu were no longer available by the time I reached the counter.
To make matters worse, the staff was rude and unaccommodating. After keeping customers waiting for so long, the least they could do is show some courtesy and empathy, but that wasn’t the case. The whole experience felt frustrating.
Honestly, the poor service and lack of availability made me regret giving Chowking another chance. If this is the kind of service they’re offering now, I doubt I’ll return anytime soon. Customers...
