We had a whole day to kill in Manila between flights, we didn't bother to book anywhere so we walked out of terminal 3 at NAIA to the Belmont, they were a bit expensive and the guards at the front seemed VERY keen to send us to the Two Palm Trees Villas.||||We had 2 large suit cases 2 carry on bags and a baby so we struggled to the front of the villas to be stopped by the security guards, I asked where is the reception. The guard asked if we had a booking and I asked again where is the reception. He asked again if we had a booking so we said no we are a walk in.....he then called over some Mafia looking tattood guy who came out of no where. I asked again where is reception and the guard said there is no reception you need to book with this guy. I told the guy we would not be interested in a place with no reception deck and walked off. We were then followed and harassed by 2 other guys trying to get us to follow them to a hotel.||||The whole thing seems like a scam, I think the security guards were well and truly involved in this, obviously for a kickback...

We understand that the units are owned by different individuals and that you aren’t obligated to the guests, but we kindly ask that you make an effort to be welcoming rather than hostile toward Airbnb guests of the owners. Whether your role is in security or as a concierge, learning the basics of hospitality is essential, as you are the face of the building.
There have been numerous instances where the reception staff have acted entitled or disrespectful simply because Airbnb guests aren’t the owners of the units.
I’m unsure if administration or the property manager has addressed this issue, but it doesn’t take much to be kind and respectful toward all visitors.

Absolutely DO NOT stay at any of the apartments hosted by Bren, such as Cluster 3 Apartment 10S. He has zero hospitality with shameful disgusting behaviour. There's also a gross cockroach infestation. This host should not be in the hospitality business at all as he is racist, unable to admit his mistake nor apologise. Learn some manners & people skills.
