It was my first time and the food looked good and I was happy to be here with my family. Greatest disappointment is not that I found hair in my food. It happens, I'm in the industry. But when that happens, how do you assure your guests you will take care of them.
First of the manager came and said, 'oh its the suppliers hair.' Well honestly, I don't care if it's the supplier or Taylor Swift's hair. There's hair in my food, change it. It was your responsibility to ensure a hygienic dish was presented in my table.
What astounded me next was, he offered to change a crab, the bucket was mixed together and how would you know the hair came from the crab. I told him I didn't want a crab, I wanted the entire dish changed because now I'm insecured to what else was in that bucket.
Anyways please use this as a case study for your mamagers. When it is the establishments fault, do not try to give excuses to get you out. The only, and right way out is, apologise and change the entire dish. You don't need to ask the guest. That is what is expected. Throw the entire dish away and give a new set.
The manager was scooping the food into a plate like he was going to recook it and send it back to me. That's not how you handle it. Wrap the entire dish with your plastic table cloth and throw it away. Assure the guest they are getting a new dish in 20mins.
I can assure you the owner of Orange bucket is more concerned about satisfied customers than saving one bucket of food that you know you screwed up with. Reputation is everything.
Anyways , thank you so much to our server. He was...
Read moreBeware of Shellfish poisoning. On September 22nd at 3:33PM , My friend ordered “TOB Seafood Bucket – Premium” from your Two Palm Tree Villa, Newport City, Pasay branch via GrabFood. I have experienced nothing but horrible symptoms such as cramping, numbing on my lips, slur speech, my right foot has felt like sand bags, etc. This establishment refused to give information requested by the National Poison Control. I have emailed them and they said they would conduct an “investigation” within 7 business days. Sadly, my symptoms are getting worse and they are refusing to pay for the initial treatment cost, because they believe I didn’t get poisoned from their establishment. Which I have provided receipts and records of contacting them as soon as I started to have a slur and was having a hard time breathing.
Based on this place history with infestation of roaches, lack of hygiene and accountability. I decided to just report this matter to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH). Now, I have to be admitted to the hospital to be seen by a neurologist, because of how bad my symptoms have gotten worse. Does this establishment even care? No.
I had to ask your staff member Cindy 6 times what her name was, because she was refusing to address herself but was asking for my information. The manager said he would contact me, but I haven’t heard back from him and he didn’t address himself either. I called, and no resolution. The only thing advancing is my symptoms. This establishment does not care about...
Read moreWent here earlier today for Sunday lunch. It was jampacked. People waiting for a table were overflowing to the streets. Initially I thought there were just too many people wanting to dine in but turns out, it was because of a poor system. Sure, tables inside are fully occupied but there are about 10 tables for alfresco but are occupied by waiting customers. Only when we suggested that we eat alfresco, that’s when the line started moving. That’s when the servers had the tables cleared for eating customers. After us, other customers followed suit. The server who was taking down reservations has totally no clue on how to manage customers. Never bothered to call out customers next in line, nor opted to get their mobile numbers so they can call them when a table is ready. Too much lost opportunities. Upon ordering, we were immediately told that if we order other items, we would have to wait for 45mins to an hour. So we just settled with their staple seafood bucket and Korean fried chicken. Food, NOT GREAT! The seafood was over cooked, almost rubbery. The chicken seemed like it was cooked in the morning and re-fried prior to serving. I believe anyone could have cooked better at home with just butter, lemon and Old Bay seasoning. We overheard some customers saying that people just go there for TikTok or IG posting. And when bill came, service charge was at 10% which is totally not worth it. I would never go back here, even with a free voucher. Will never even recommend it...
