Anyone can enter and open l the public just let your bag be x-rayed and through metal detector. Already at the terminal 3 at the end at the walkway Detailed: Runway Manila is a thoughtfully designed pedestrian bridge that connects Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 to Newport City. Spanning 220 meters, this fully air-conditioned walkway offers a seamless and secure passage for travelers, especially those staying at nearby hotels like Belmont or Savoy. What makes it stand out is its convenience—travelers can bypass Manila’s often congested roads and walk directly from the terminal to their accommodations or the Newport World Resorts complex. The bridge is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with elevators, making it accessible for people with luggage or mobility concerns. Security personnel are present, and the area is well-lit, contributing to a safe environment even during late hours. The views of Newport City from the bridge add a touch of charm, especially at night when the city lights come alive. Runway Manila is more than just a footbridge—it’s a smart urban solution that enhances the airport experience. Whether you're a frequent flyer or a first-time visitor, it offers a welcome breath of efficiency in a city known for its traffic. For travelers looking for comfort, safety, and speed, this elevated walkway delivers on all .

NAIA Terminal 3 hacks: super convenient pedestrian access. Would recommend for those willing to walk. Definitely think this is faster thank being dropped off at the T3 vehicle loading bay. How to get there: The entrance is right beside McDonald's, but not along the highway. You'll need to enter Newport to reach the drop off point to Runway Manila. Once you're in: There's a security checkpoint with x-ray luggage upon entry to the building, and upon entry to the airport itself. Pushcarts are available also, which is very convenient. The elevators are the huge industrial type for large groups, which only goes to the fifth and ground floors. Walking along the bridge is very convenient and comfortable. Fully air-conditioned, cleaned tiles, walkalators in certain segments, and large signs telling you where to go. Very impressive if you ask me. The bridge directly leads to the forth level of NAIA T3 which is the food court/area of the terminal. Lots of standard chains are there. Cutting through the food areas, you can find yourself by the check-in counters. Reminders: You can use this bridge for both departure and arrival. Make sure you're in the right terminal! This bridge only leads to TERMINAL 3. There were some people looking for T1 and T2 links, unfortunately there is none.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting this remarkable space when collecting our parents from the airport, and it left a lasting impression. One of the standout features of Manila Runway is the breathtaking view it provides. The surrounding architecture and buildings create a stunning backdrop for photos and videos, making it an ideal spot for capturing memories. The aesthetics of the area are simply captivating, and it's evident that careful thought has gone into designing this space. What sets Manila Runway apart is its connection to nearby hotels. This bridge linking the airport to accommodation options is a game-changer for travellers. It eliminates the need to navigate the airport's hustle and bustle, offering a seamless transition from arrival to lodging. It's a convenience that can't be overstated, especially after a long journey.

Runway Manila is an extremely useful facility for travelers, especially with the number of tourists and passengers staying in the hotels and condos in Newport City. It’s just across the road from Belmont Hotel, making it super convenient for anyone going to or coming from NAIA Terminal 3. The overpass is secure—you have to pass through scanners when heading to the airport, and there are guards regularly patrolling inside, so you feel safe during the walk.

However, there are a few drawbacks. The interior has become noticeably warmer lately. It used to be air-conditioned, but now it feels stuffy—you will sweat during the walk, especially if you’re carrying luggage. Several of the moving walkways are also not working, which makes the walk more tiring and inconvenient if you’re hauling bags.

I want to raise a separate concern—not about Runway Manila itself, but about the shuttle service managed by Newport just outside its exit. After leaving the overpass from the airport side, you’ll see white vans meant to transport guests to nearby hotels. Be aware: the vans may be locked with no driver in sight. In my experience, the driver was just standing near the security scanner area, chatting with guards, and made no effort to help or identify himself.

I initially thought no one was around, until the next day when I directly asked the man near the scanner if he could assist or contact someone for hotel transport—only for him to casually reply, “Where to? I’m the driver.” No initiative, no courtesy. It was frustrating and reflected very poorly on Newport’s customer service.

I sincerely hope this isn’t how they treat foreign visitors, but regardless, this kind of attitude needs attention. Management at Newport should look into the professionalism of their shuttle staff to ensure travelers—especially first-timers—are given...
