Worst Mary Grace outlet!
Inefficient Seating Process: Despite multiple vacant tables, the hostess caused an excessive delay in seating customers. She took orders of dining-in customers at the counter, only to seat them afterward, wasting time for everyone waiting. This lack of basic operational efficiency is inexcusable.
Order Mishandling: The same hostess, seemingly overwhelmed, took our order without confirming or repeating it for accuracy. Consequently, I received an incorrect hot chocolate variant instead of the requested Spicy Mexican. When I pointed out the error, the staff member appeared irritated and escalated the issue to a supervisor (Fred). FYI, do not expect customers to rely on written notes posted on tables as we are not there to verify staff responsibilities. The expectation is for you to deliver accurate service! Even if the staff seemed miffed, I would always prefer to receive what I ordered and wanted to pay for. This is non-negotiable.
Unprofessional Staff Interaction: When I requested to change the order to takeout due to further delays, Fred, the supervisor, interrupted me mid-sentence, forcing me to firmly ask him to listen and wait for me to finish what I wanted to say before responding. His dismissive attitude was unprecedented and deeply unprofessional for a supervisor/coach. He assured me the drink would be provided in a takeout cup, yet this was not followed through as confirmed by the following action:
Repeated Errors: The staff member who initially served the wrong drink returned with the correct Spicy Mexican hot chocolate, but it was still served in a ceramic cup, disregarding my explicit takeout request. Having to reiterate this simple instruction was beyond frustrating.
The staff’s disorganized behavior resembled aimless chaos, with no clear sense of purpose or coordination. This experience is disappointing and tarnishes the company's reputation. I strongly urge you to address these critical lapses by retraining your staff on basic customer service, order accuracy, and professional conduct. Immediate action is necessary to restore confidence...
Read moreAs a seasoned traveler, I’ve seen my fair share of airport lounges and waiting areas, but Mary Grace at NAIA Terminal 3 holds a special place in my heart. It’s my go-to spot after check-in, especially when I have time to spare before my flight. While I have access to lounges beyond immigration, I often choose to stay here—especially when my family is with me to send me off.
Tucked away in a more secluded part of the terminal, this café is far from the usual foot traffic and airport buzz. Its location alone makes it ideal for quiet moments, but what truly keeps me coming back is the cozy, calming atmosphere. The seating area outside the main café is particularly peaceful—perfect for long, lingering conversations or quiet reflection.
Yes, the food and pastries are on the pricier side, but the quality and experience make up for it. Their bakery-style counter offers beautiful, well-loved treats that we always enjoy. My family and I like the ambiance here—it’s warm, welcoming, and never rushed. You can sit as long as you need, as long as you order something, and no one will ever make you feel unwelcome.
I’ve created many bittersweet memories here—those last hugs, parting words, and quiet moments before boarding. For me, Mary Grace at NAIA isn’t just a café. It’s a comforting space where I can hold onto those last few moments with the...
Read moreIt was late and we were looking for a place as quiet as it could get at the airport that also served vegetarian options. We couldn't get into Max's, but saw an interesting cafe with nice decor and outdoor seating that didn't seem too noisy. Welcome to Mary Grace!
There were a lot of things to like here. The food was good, especially for being at the airport. They had vegetarian options which I feared would be difficult to find. And all the servers were very kind.
We had mushroom pasta, salmon pasta, mushroom soup, and ensaymada. The pasta sauces were creamy and we commented how grateful we were that they used fresh mushrooms. The soup was also very creamy. Each dish had a serving of buttered garlic bread which was a nice touch. Finally, the ensaymada was good, though it seemed really oily. The cheese was heavy to one side and the sugar was heavy on the other side.
All in all, we enjoyed being away from all the hubbub from the airport and spending a quiet dinner at Mary Grace's. If you'd like that I'd recommend...
