However, the dining experience took a turn for the bizarre during our meal when three female performers, dressed in red hanfu, approached our table post-performance. Rather than offering red envelopes as festive tokens, they used them to solicit tips in a manner that felt intrusive and misplaced. I kid you not, I exaggerate not.

While the staff provided attentive and courteous service throughout, this cheap element came across as both disruptive and unbecoming of the otherwise polished establishment. The crass gesture sank the restaurant’s image to bordering that of a brothel in my opinion.
