To be honest, The Orange Bucket at Double Dragon Mall used to be one of my top-rated dining spots — a solid 5-star experience in the past. Unfortunately, after my most recent three visits, I’ve decided to revise that rating down to just 3 stars. The consistency and quality that once made this place stand out have noticeably declined, and it's been disappointing enough for me to make the decision not to return to this particular branch again.
One of the biggest letdowns has been the portion sizes and freshness of the seafood. The crabs have become significantly smaller — so small, in fact, that they're barely larger than the palm of a small child. The shrimps also don’t taste as fresh as they used to, which really affects the overall dining experience. What's even more frustrating is the dramatic increase in price. We used to enjoy a satisfying bucket meal for our small family of three for under ₱2,000, but now it costs close to ₱4,000, with noticeably less seafood and more filler like potatoes and corn.
The sauce, which used to be one of their highlights, now seems different — likely due to a change in ingredients or a shift in their original recipe. It no longer has that rich, flavorful kick that made it memorable. While the level of service has remained relatively the same — courteous and accommodating — the value lies in the food itself, and sadly, that’s where it’s fallen short.
If you’ve never been to The Orange Bucket before, it might still be worth checking out just for the experience. But if you're going with expectations based on previous visits, or if you're considering it for a special seafood treat, I’d honestly suggest looking elsewhere. There are better options in Manila that offer fresher seafood, better portions, and more...

🤝𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 | It can take a couple of minutes to call the staff because the place was huge and there were a lot of customers when we were there. But once the staff saw us waving, they attended to us quickly. 🪑𝐀𝐭𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 | The place was pleasant - there are enough spaces between each table and chairs. It wasn't super cold nor hot - just enough temp to make you feel comfortable while eating. 🧘𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨-𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 | not sure about this because i cannot remember if they have solo-serving in the menu for seafood. but for sure they have naman for other dish.
Would you recommend this place to others? YES Areas for improvement: I think there should always be an assign person to look at each side of the restaurant to attend to customer's need quickly.

Cajun-style seafood feast. Order your seafood by the bucket. Mussels, crab, lobster, corn, potatoes, shrimp. Choose your spiciness level. Their highest spice level is not spicy, but is flavorful. I highly recommend opting for the garlic butter dipping sauce - largest bowl of garlic better I've ever seen in a restaurant and it pairs with the seafood (and the ribs, and probably the salads & brownies!) very well.
Plastic table cloths, plastic gloves (necessary!), and plastic bibs (necessary!). Even still, you're not likely to walk away from this seafood massacre unscathed - at least one drop of grease is likely going to find its way to your clothing so plan appropriately.
Food is plentiful but not exceptional. The spice mixture overrides much if not all of the unique flavor of mussels or shrimp or crab. You have to break up the crab shell yourself - without any tools - unless you ask a waiter to do it for you. Subtlety is not what you're paying for or getting here, but you will probably have a good time. Especially as a...
