I was excited to try this one last Sunday and had high expectations, but everyone from our table was a bit disappointed. I thought it was just me because I’ve been to Vietnam a few times so I had something to compare, but all 8 of us including friends who haven’t been to, said food was just ok. But don’t let that comment bother you, the food is still ok for the price. Felt home cooked in a way so still ok, not terrible 😊. Maybe it’s good for post office dinner and drinks and not quiet Sunday dinner? 😊 What we ordered: - Fresh and fried spring rolls, squid cake, bun thit, bun bo hue, clams, etc. Overall: Price - Good for serving size. Will go back? - will give it a second chance.

The place is nice (but there's no air-con), the service could've been better, the food we ordered, not so much. Black coffee - too sweet, they didn't even ask if I wanted sugar in it when I ordered. They didn't offer to replace it either. Mantis shrimp cake - taste is okay but it's too dry. They could've been fried whole, then cut instead. Clams in tamarind sauce - sauce could've been good, but the clams were inedible. We couldn't even chew them. The server insisted it's really supposed to be like that. Spicy beef noodles - just right. Not spicy by itself, but it's served with a separate bowl of chili oil. You get free softdrinks when you rate them, hence the reviews.

First of all, they need to find a new chef who actually knows Vietnamese food flavors. First time i was served lettuce with my pho 🤣🤣🤣. There was no basil and jalapeno. Pho tasted like green onion soup and prolly has like 3 cilantro leaves. The cha gio tasted like pinoy veggie lumpia and fried like one too (a little charred and oily af). Place has no AC so the fan is blowing your food cold very quick. Overall, waste of money. Do not come to this restaurant. They already messed up the most basic vietnamese food, i can just imagine the rest of their menu. This is NOT EVEN CLOSE to real vietnam food.

I don't understand the high ratings for this place. I went out of my way to eat there for lunch, and it was pretty disappointing. To be fair, I only had the pho, but if an "authentic" Vietnamese restaurant can't get that right, then I'm dubious about the rest. The service was OK, but the atmosphere was nonexistent, and the pho was bland tasteless. They did not serve mint with the pho, only sprouts on a bed of shreded lettuce and calamansi? Weird. The vermicelli noodles were also very large, which was weird. There is no aircon, just large fans blowing. I've been to Vietnam, I know what good Vietnamese food is,...
