Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Puerto Princesa

Shakey's was pretty average, all things considered. We ate a 9" truffle greens pizza and a tuna caesar salad, both of which we shared. We found there to be a weird flavour to the bread dough of the pizza which we have since discovered must have been the "truffle" in the name. It's not entirely pleasant so I don't recommend trying their truffle items. The pizza itself was their "famous thin" style which they have been making since 1969. Not trying to be clever but the base of the pizza was solid so it was as if it had been made in 1969. It genuinely cracked when you bit it, like a big crisp. So it really felt like no other pizza I have ever eaten. The caesar salad was a bit too sweet so it felt a bit sugary. Nonetheless we finished the food and it was OK. Probably would...

I have eaten their many times, however when you order over the phone, it takes 3 people to process the call, you know finally get your order correct. The person answering the phone ask what you want and go over and over what you want, then that is passed on to the cashier and she ask again what you want, then the call is passed back to the first person to make sure the order was correct in the first place and on top of all this, my Filipino friend was speaking Tagalog, and he thought it was a nightmare to deal with. He said there is a Yellow Cab Pizza in town if you dont wont to do good business with me. Well after about 15 minutes we gotten it straighten out. I guess we will only know once they deliver the pizza....

TOTALLY WORST AND DISGUSTING Pizza Restaurant...I was here on 1st September 2022 ..14:40 to 15:30 o'clock and ordered Truffle 4 cheese Pizza....it came like a Margarita Pizza just little Mozzarella on it...nothing to do with 4 cheese Pizza ..absolutely no taste..and pasta which taste just nothing...and potato was not avaliable....altogether for 1500 peso...so incredibly WORST Pizza restaurant I have ever seen in my whole life....Please kick them out both Manager and the Pizza maker!!! or just close that Shakey...
