Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5) Ramen Kuroda – Eton Centris, Quezon City Visited: September 2025
Ramen Kuroda at Eton Centris delivers big on comfort and value. The Shiro Tonkotsu Ramen Set is a clear standout, while the salmon sushi roll lags behind.
Food: ★★★★☆
The Shiro Tonkotsu Ramen Set is a heavy, delicious centerpiece. A rich pork-bone broth stays creamy without being greasy, noodles hold a satisfying bite, and the chashu is melt-in-the-mouth tender. The set comes complete with a grilled chicken rice bowl, fresh fruit, and hot tea—thoughtful touches that make it feel like a full, balanced meal.
The Salmon Sushi Roll, however, underdelivers. The salmon is sliced so thin it tastes like a regular maki, leaving the impression of a basic roll at a premium add-on price.
Service: ★★★★★
Prompt, smooth, and welcoming. Orders arrived quickly, water refills came unasked, and staff kept a friendly, attentive presence throughout the visit.
Ambiance: ★★★★★
Bright, clean, and comfortably Japanese without being overdone. The gentle aroma of simmering broth adds warmth, making the space equally good for a solo ramen night or a small group catch-up. No wonder it’s always full of people—I even had to wait for a table.
Menu & Value
Our total bill for both dishes was ₱661.61, which is excellent considering the generous ramen set and added sushi roll. The ramen set itself is outstanding value; the sushi roll, while edible, doesn’t pull its weight.
Final Verdict
Ramen Kuroda – Eton Centris is a repeat-worthy destination for rich, filling ramen and thoughtful sides. Go straight for the ramen sets and skip the sushi roll if you want the best return for every peso.

Read moreVery rude staff. April 13, 2025
I always enjoy dining at Ramen Kuroda ever since I tried their Eastwood branch 8 years ago when I worked there. After I transferred jobs, I tried to find a branch near my residence in which I stumbled upon their Eton Centris branch.
When my family and I got there, we were asked if it was okay to be seated outside. We gladly complied, after all, I highly recommended it to my family. And after a long out of town journey, I was really looking forward to enjoy my food.
TERRIBLE SERVICE
The staff that seated us was very cold, almost dismissive about entertaining customers. I would understand overworked and underpaid staff but Ramen Kuroda charges a service fee. So I would expect a little bit of courtesy, especially since it's a service industry. But the server was very rude. When we were ready to order, she was talking to other customers and when I motioned kindly that we were ready to order, she held her hand up, palm opened, while facing away from me, telling me to wait. That was the rudest gesture I have ever experienced in any restaurant. Very unprofessional. This happened on April 13, 2025 at around 7PM.
Did I retaliate? No, not at all. I didn't want to ruin the mood of my family, much less embarrass the server. I wanted to report the incident to Ramen Kuroda's customer service, or corporate office, but there were no available lines. The experience was so bad and infuriating that I never went back to their Eton branch, and...

We tried their TanTanmen and Beef Gyudon set meal, adding 70 Php for the TanTanmen.
The food was fantastic! We ordered the TanTanmen and Beef Gyudon set meal, and the TanTanmen was an amazing flavor explosion. The service was efficient and excellent, with attentive and welcoming staff. We sat at a cozy two-seater table near the door, enjoying the pleasant ambiance.
However, we occasionally encountered flies, which slightly disrupted the enjoyable atmosphere.
Their green tea halo halo was delicious, but I wished they had added more red beans.
The TanTanmen was a flavor explosion, even though it was part of the set meal. The beef gyudon was a bit bland, but the tender beef made up for it. They also provided additional beef sauce for us to add to our beef and rice bowls. The set meal was plated nicely, accompanied by tea and fruits.
Overall, the experience was...
