I’ve really wanted to try the ZhaHun Chicken Chop that I’ve been seeing on social media. So when I got the chance to go there for lunch, I didn’t hesitate to drop by. The place has a very Chinese vibe with huge Chinese character slogans displayed on the wall. It looks clean, spacious and has ample seating. We were greeted by their friendly staff. Since I already knew what to order, I immediately told her, but unfortunately, we were informed that it wasn’t available. So, I settled for their Boneless Thigh Combo, which comes with rice, fries, pickled cucumber and iced tea. The chicken thigh was tender and juicy, the skin was crispy and the batter was flavorful. The staff mentioned that the batter used for the boneless thigh was the same as the one for the chicken chop, so I can imagine how good it must be. Too bad! The rice, however, was a bit undercooked for my taste while the fries were crispy and the seasoning sprinkled on them tasted fine. But the real scene-stealer was the iced tea, it had lemon and lime and tasted homemade. It wasn’t too sweet, though it could use a bit more tea flavor. Although it was disappointing at first, it still turned out to be a good experience and good value for money.

Back for round two — and still impressed! ZhaHun Chicken Chop has officially earned a spot on our go-to list when in QC.
🍗 Fried Chicken with Wasabi Flavoring – Hands down a winner. The chicken isn’t your usual breaded cutlet — it has a distinct texture and flavor that sets it apart. Juicy inside, crisp on the outside, and that kick of wasabi adds just the right punch without overpowering the dish. Definitely not your generic fried chicken.
🍹 Lemon Iced Tea – Refreshing and balances well with the savory chicken. Nothing too fancy, but it does the job.
✅ Final Verdict: Consistent quality, great flavor, and that rare feeling of “worth coming back for”. 5/5 – Solid favorite when in Centris, QC. Looking forward to the next visit.

Read moreWe went here around dinner time and we were immediately assisted even while outside just looking at their menu. We just ordered takeout to try their chicken but they let us sit inside and even served us water for refreshments. First thing that came into mind when I smelled their chicken is that it smelled exactly like the ones I had in Taiwan and their chicken tasted really good. I kid you not when I say that it's even better than some of the ones I tried in Taiwan. The skin was really crispy and the inside was juicy. Just don't let it cool down for too long because it's best while it's still hot. Our order took 15 minutes to be ready and imo, that was alright. Will definitely be back to...
