RUB Ribs & Bbq — Restaurant in Quezon City

AWFUL! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. The ribs are not what you think a legit bbq is. Let me tell you my experience. When we first walk into the establishment we sat down and had to wait a while for our server to come over. Actually we had to call him over because he never came over to check on us. Not ever offer us service water. Then he took our order and had an attitude of a “siga” type and felt like we weren’t welcomed. We waited about 20 minutes for food when it came out. Mine was the first one to come out and we waited for my friend’s food which took another 15-20 minutes rendering my food cold. AND WE ARE THE ONLY 2 PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT! Upon getting served the food, there was not even an apology of late service or for letting my food get cold while waiting for my companions food to get served. I will not eat unless my companion is eating as well. When I ate my meal, the meat was very plain. No Smokey flavor. It’s as if the meat was frozen then warmed up and charred on the grill. I could taste the burnt meat on the outside but the inside was soggy and flavorless. The sauce was very sweet but no taste as well. In the end, the mashed potato was delicious as well as the macaroni salad. There was about 4 staff sitting around on their phones playing videos at maximum sound level giving the establishment a lazy, unprofessional environment. One of them never even checked in on us. Upon asking for the bill, i asked to speak to a manager to voice my concerns about my experience but they informed me no one is in charge and the area manager is out. They just gave me a number that goes directly to this store. The guy said call this number and you MIGHT talk to the manager. I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with this experience. I urge everyone who reads this to save your money and go to a better establishment with real BBQ and flavor and above all, better...

We came here after furniture shopping and were really hungry.

We ordered Quesadilla - Carnitas, Ribs + Honey Garlic Butter + Rice, Ribs Solo + Mashed Potato.

When the food arrived, it smelled like cinema because of the buttered corn (so yum!). I took a bote of the quesadilla and there were lots of stuffings. Every bite is a symphony of flavor especially when you dip it in the salsa. Excelente!

I'm not originally a fan or ribs (maybe because I had experience eating dry ribs). Their ribs is very soft, you can easilly remove the meat from the bone. The mashed potato is not flavorful which is a good balance when you drizzle the additional bbq sauce.

The chicken is crispy yet juicy on the inside. Super plus for their gravy (i think its a mushroom gravy because it's malinamnam)

This restaurant has good food, but on our last visit many of the items were unavailable, but they did not tell us until after we ordered. No buns was a big one, no salad and no apologies for the extremely limited options. Some items they could have run to the local store to ensure they have better options for their customers. The server's could do a lot better by being aware of the menu and expressing sincere apologies for not living up to expectations. I pray either owners or management or both make the necessary changes to keep us customers enjoying the great food they...
