Service was good, staff courteous. Place was ok, bit tight. But the food was disappointing. TGIF is known for classic American food and generosity. I understand adapting a little to local standards but this placed divested itself of the essence of TGIF. I ordered the fish and chips and got one piece of fish smaller than a small cellphone (the napkin included in the photo for reference is 4"x4") and a stingy portion of fries...and rice(!). Maybe they mean to serve a portion fit for a 12" American doll--like a secret joke of sorts. When you order fish and chips in New York, you get a basket full of several pieces of fish and an even bigger mound of fries. And they have malt vinegar. And considering the price that I paid--it is not value for money. It's more expensive in NY at first glance, but when you compare the quantity of food, it's way more expensive in Manila. I also ordered a classic mojito. They were good about following my request about putting less sugar. But with very little alcohol in it, it might as well be virgin. TGIF might be the name on the door, but you'd be hard-pressed to recognize it in the food.

First time dining again at Friday’s post pandemic and the place still offers a lively atmosphere perfect for get togethers or night outs. The menu at Friday’s features a variety of classic American dishes and price of the food is at the upper end. Platter serving size is good for only 3-4 persons. So better if you can take advantage of the 50% discounts of credit card partners (search it up before visiting so you would know which card has existing promo) We ordered a platter with baby back ribs, cajun chicken, mac&cheese, mashed potatoes, buttered corn&carrots and onion rings (couldn’t remember the name of the platter) just so we can try different dishes and it didn’t disappoint. All the dishes were superb but only downside was the ribs were a little bit dry. And for the drinks, we tried their refreshing drinks and I didn’t like mango tango. The rest were okay. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience since the staff were attentive and ambiance is really good.

We ordered our favorites, calamari, grilled pork chop, and cajun shrimp pasta. The food is still great, we love it. However, we noticed that there was a downsize on the porkchop. It used to be in thick slices and in a big portion. Now it's thinly sliced and in small cut. The calamari we ordered is in to share portion, but it looks like for a single portion. This is our go-to place whenever we can't think of what or where to eat. And the porkchop is our usual order. So we are really familiar with their food. Service is, of course, superb. Staff are very attentive and accommodating. And we definitely love a place where we have enough space to move around. We will still eat here, but I hope they'll do something about their serving portion as TGI Friday's is well known for big portion meal. Also, try their oreo mud pie, best dessert after a sumptuous meal.

I dined at TGIF Trinoma Sept 16, 2019. I ordered the 3pc Filipino liempo. The quality was terrible. Pork was tough & garlic rice was dry. I called the attention of the manager when I asked for the bill. She saw that last piece was left untouched. The one on my plate was cut in pieces & was not eaten as well as the rice. A waiter approached me & asked if I wanted dessert instead. I told him I dont want any dessert since I wasnt able to eat my early dinner. They gave me the bill & was charged for it less the BFF discount. I asked the manager if thats all that they can do. I was expecting that I would be given at least 50% discount since almost the whole meal was not eaten. I asked for the comp coffee instead to take out. On my way out I asked the manager if the cup they used was for coffee since I could see the wax inside the cup was melting with my coffee. Manager said TGIF doesnt have coffee cups & used waxed cup for cold beverage! I left the coffee again untouched on my way out.

SERVICE & QUALITY OF TGIF TRINOMA...
