I stayed at this hotel primarily for its proximity to Smart Araneta, which was super convenient. The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, making check-in smooth and easy. However, I couldn't help but notice some behavior towards Filipino guests with foreigners that felt a bit judgy. I overheard some laughing after check-ins, which was uncomfortable. As for the room, it started off with a strong smell of paint. Being a digital nomad, the wifi was important to me, but unfortunately, the first room had no working internet. When I reported the issue, the staff were kind enough to move us to a nicer room. However, the second room had its own set of issues. I found leftover shampoos and soaps from previous guests, some hair strands, and a lingering bad smell. The wifi was much better, though, so I just had to bear with it as I was only staying for one night. The worst part of the second room was the air conditioning. It wasn't working well and was incredibly noisy, making it hard to sleep. On the bright side, the security guard was really helpful when we needed assistance with our bike—it was tough to get it out of the narrow exit. Overall, the hotel was decent for its budget price, but the experience was a bit hit or miss. It’s great for a short stay, especially if you're just passing through, but there are some areas that could definitely use improvement, like cleanliness and room amenities.

The room is spacious and well-suited for two persons. However, there is an unusual smell that, while bearable, is noticeable. The space includes a small TV, an air conditioner that doesn't work optimally, cabinets for clothes, a coffee table, and small trash bins. Additionally, there were some cockroaches present, which detracted from the overall comfort. The service is generally good, with the convenience of an intercom in each room. However, there were significant issues with the breakfast delivery, which took almost two hours and disrupted my planned activities. Additionally, there was no Wi-Fi available during my stay, and my booking could not be found online, requiring me to write it down manually. The location of the hotel is excellent, providing easy access to essential services and attractions. It is close to various transportation options, food outlets, and local attractions, making it a convenient place to stay. Overall, they have good breakfast and the hotel offers a spacious room and good location, but there are several areas that need improvement, including service speed, cleanliness, and amenities.

It is a decent place to stay just to sleep. Stayed there almost 3 times already. My 3rd time I stayed for 10 hrs in room 330. In the first 3 hrs, the room is peaceful. But at 1am when I am already sleeping, the noise coming from the aircon is so loud that I couldn't sleep anymore. The telephone in the room isn't working also so I tried texting their number. Someone went to my room to check it and he said he'll see what he can do. I waited but he didn't came back after 1 hour. I decided to just put my earphones and play some music so I wouldn't hear the noise just to get to sleep. I didn't know if he came back after that. I barely slept that night. The noise just continued until I checked out in the morning. I am a little disappointed because instead of having a good rest before going home to my province, I was more tired. I hope the hotel can fix this. I will surely stay here again because of the price and place but I hope the room next time wouldn't be like this again. I just need a place to sleep. :)

Im from singapore and as a tourist with my girlfriend Corina,i can say that the place is accessible n convenient as it is near to shopping malls..we stayed in a SUITE,n kindly note, its a suite n not STANDARD but we were given a very POOR AND SLOW SERVICE even we r staying in a premium suite room..we left our room in the morning and came back in the afternoon, our room is still in mess!they didnt tidy up the room and my girlfriend called the receptionist 2 times for room service but till evening,no one come and attend us..on the evening,we left the room and we told them we called them 2 times for room service but no one came and simply they said sorry!JUST SORRY???on the next day,we saw a COCKROACH..but thats not all,my girlfriend called for breakfast and it took about an hour for them to serve us..on our last day of stay,my girlfriend called for breakfast around 6:30 am and we waited but still our breakfast didnt come..my girlfriend called and remind them and they simply asked her if she called for breakfast or not..and the breakfast arrived around 8:30am ..our check out time is 9:30 am,and we received a call fron the receptionist reminding us we hv to check out at 9:30 am..wow! They know how to remind us about check out time but when its about room cleaning, breakfast and all, they dont know how to remind themselves abt it..we r wondering, theres alot of employee at the lobby chatting here and there but they r so so SLOW with their service..i would not recommend anyone to stay here..as a tourist, this hotel is the most bad experience for me and my gf even if u paid for suite ,u wont get any...

Our Stay at Hotel Dreamworld Araneta Cubao: A Disappointing Experience

When we booked the Mega Suite over a month in advance, we were excited about its proximity to the concert venue. Being just across from the venue seemed perfect. However, reality fell far short of our expectations.

Booking and Room Allocation: Despite our reservation, the hotel didn’t have the Mega Suite available upon our arrival. Instead, they offered us two separate rooms, each with a double bed. Given that every other hotel in the area was fully booked due to the SB19 concert, we reluctantly accepted the alternative arrangement.

Room Conditions: One of the rooms had an air conditioning unit that barely functioned. The stifling heat made our stay uncomfortable. Small roaches scurried around the room, and the broken toilet seat was an unpleasant surprise.

Additional Charges: To add insult to injury, we had to pay extra for an additional blanket and hot water. Considering the inconvenience caused by the room mix-up, this felt unfair. And to top it off, the internet connection was poor. On a positive note, the water pressure was good, and hot water was consistently available.

Staff Interaction: The staff was friendly but lacked attention to detail. Basic maintenance issues went unaddressed, leaving us frustrated.

Overall Impression: Our stay at Hotel Dreamworld Araneta Cubao was far from enjoyable. Given the discomfort and inconvenience, we cannot recommend this...
