We dined with them yesterday, 8/24, at 2:30pm. We ordered the ox tail, chicken parmigiana, dalandan juice, and Coke Zero. It took them 45 minutes to prepare our orders.
House bread was not fresh: It was chewy unlike the ones served at their Estancia branch. They served the oxtail 20 minutes before serving the chicken parmigiana so the oxtail was cold already. They served the drinks 5-10 minutes after serving the food.
Now the service: It was BAD. I’ve been dining with their branch in Estancia and the servers in this branch (Uptown) is so much worse than the ones in Estancia. The servers in Estancia are friendly, they’re very welcoming, they’re attentive, and they would give what you need or want even before you ask.
Arlo (server) - he just clocked in at 3pm, but he wasn’t acknowledging requests.
I asked for chicken parmigiana sauce. He just looked at me and walked away. I never got it. I had to ask Ellen, the other server, again.
Kenneth, server, took our order. I asked him to provide parmesan cheese and water. He didn’t come back with those. So I had to ask Ellen again.
Ellen was the only decent server in this place.
Abby who was the assistant manager approached me when she saw me taking photos (she’s the one with the brown coat in the photos attached), but she couldn’t even greet us properly when we arrived. She started to be friendly when she noticed me taking pictures. 😅

The staff didn’t attend to us at all, just passed by without checking in. The pasta we ordered was undercooked—yes, al dente is fine, but this was raw and clumped together.
When the pizza finally arrived, it was another huge letdown. We always eat thin crust pizza, but this was the first time in our lives to see one like this. The middle part had no dough at all—just toppings spread out to make it look like a whole pizza. Completely unacceptable. They had to cook it again, which meant waiting all over again. Still, no one offered an apology, explanation, or even a simple gesture to make up for the bad experience.
What’s worse, the manager on duty (Sept. 8, 2025, 5:00 PM) didn’t bother to approach us, check on us, or apologize. She/ He simply didn’t care.
There was even a male "tall" server with big eyes who made a rude comment behind us (“partearte pa”). When we were about to pay, he insisted if we have discount card, like what?
If not for the view, there is absolutely no reason to dine here. It’s a complete waste of time and money. • Undercooked and salty food • Manager with zero concern for guests • Rude remarks from staff

We love Italiannis in Eastwood. But this location, we are NEVER COMING BACK!
Sept 3 at 11AM. We went there for lunch. Its our daughters yaya’s birthday (shes’s our lovely Manang). I typically have Manang order an alcoholic drink to celebrate and I get one myself as well.
When the lady server came over to ask if we're ready to order, I said to give us a few minutes. She left with some smirk on her face.
I called her to let her know we’re ready. Then I said to wait for Manang’s drink order. She had this rude demeanor that I think Manang felt so she just gave her back the menu. I didn't say anything.
She came back to let me know that they didn't have bacon for their Italian salad so I asked to see the menu again. She rolled her eyes. I was about to lose it, but I stayed mum since I'm with my 6 year old.
When she handed me the menu, my daughter ask me something that I just had to project and told her that “I hate it when people roll their eyes at me”. My poor daughter was confused 🙂. But the rude server lady started being nice since then.
The other lady who helped us out when the main servers busy, was nice. This is the employee that Itallianis should keep.
