Upon entering, I was immediately struck by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor, with its rustic charm and elegant touches, set the tone for what would be a memorable dining experience. The staff were attentive and courteous, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were knowledgeable about the menu and quick to provide recommendations, which enhanced our dining experience.
We ordered a variety of dishes, each more delicious than the last. The Eggs Benedict with forest ham was exceptional. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, with a yolk that flowed beautifully upon cutting. The forest ham added a rich, savory flavor that complemented the hollandaise sauce wonderfully.
The Clubhouse Sandwich was a classic done right. Layers of fresh ingredients, including crispy bacon, tender chicken, lettuce, and tomato, were stacked between perfectly toasted bread. It was hearty and satisfying, with each bite offering a balance of textures and flavors.
The Quattro Formaggi Pizza was a cheese lover’s dream. The combination of four different cheeses melted together to create a gooey, delicious topping on a thin, crispy crust. The blend of flavors was rich and indulgent without being overwhelming.
The Croque Madame was a delightful twist on a classic French dish. The sandwich was decadently layered with ham, cheese, and a perfectly fried egg on top. The béchamel sauce added a creamy, luxurious touch that made each bite delightful.
The Angus Ribeye Burger was a standout. The ribeye patty was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and topped with fresh ingredients that enhanced its taste. The bun was soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without becoming soggy.
The 3 Cheese Stuffed Ravioli was a creamy and indulgent dish. The ravioli were generously filled with a blend of cheeses that melted in your mouth.
The Tapa was a unique and flavorful dish that rounded out our meal perfectly. It featured a delicate balance of sweet and savory elements, with a hint of spice that added an extra layer of complexity.
The quality of the food, combined with the inviting ambiance and attentive service, made for a memorable meal. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a casual lunch or a more refined dinner, Lartizan offers something for everyone. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a delightful and satisfying...
Read moreMy friends and I were very excited to try out their tea sets. We already checked out the menu online and it specifically mentioned "afternoon tea/after dinner tea". Well, technically, the tea set is available anytime of the day. Anyway, we were there 8:30PM, which is technically after dinner. We were seated and we immediately asked about the tea sets. The waiter replied it's not available because some of the pastries are not available anymore. I discussed replacing the unavailable items with the ones still available which meant we would just be having one type of savoury pastry and one type of sweet pastry. When it came to the scones (which is still part of the set), the waiter warned us that those are not available anymore, which totally rendered our earlier discussion about replacing pastries moot. The waiter then consulted with the manager (who seemed like she could not even be bothered) about possible scone replacements, but their discussion ended quickly.
I remarked to the waiter that they should remove the "after dinner" title in their tea set menu since it's no use going there after dinner to get their after dinner tea when said after dinner tea is actually not available. The waiter commented that the tea set is USUALLY not available at night since most of the pastries have been bought up before then. THAT actually makes it WORSE and validates my point that they should not be putting "after dinner" captions/titles when that particular item is "usually" no longer available at that time. After that, we left having not ordered/eaten anything.
I've been interested in this restaurant for years, but I'm afraid this first experience has already colored my opinion of this restaurant. These establishments should not take customer service lightly and should value the time and effort the customers take to go to their restaurant. Having a "wrong" menu is not at all helpful to anyone. We...
Read moreI enjoyed my visit here. The place is Instagram worthy. The wait staff and kitchen staff are well coordinated. I loved watching the Baker as he made freshly baked bread, and I also loved the bread basket. It had sourdough and baguette. The crispy crust and the soft chewy bread... I would keep coming back just for the bread alone. 😍 The entire menu was available at 7:30 in the morning, unless of course they ran out of ingredients. I really appreciate the honesty of the staff. An example is when we ordered the Pan-fried Chicken Steak. Our server came out of the kitchen and informed us that the kitchen asked if we could change our order because the available chicken was under sized and they didn't want to compromise on the quality and quantity of the dish. That to me is already a 👍👍👍👍👍. So we did change our chicken dish. In the photo, you'll see the Ribeye Steak. Don't be fooled by the size, because we asked our server to have the steak divided into two, which he gladly had the kitchen do. At first we thought that they would just have the steak cut into two, but they did an even more amazing job. They served it separately. They divided the steak sauce, mashed potato and the French bean into two separate dish. So in the photo, that's just half the dish we ordered. 🤩 Everything we ordered was good and the service even better. I'm definitely coming back to try the other dishes. As per my companions' warnings, I didn't make it to dessert 😭 I'll confess that I single handedly finished the bread basket and even mopped up the butter. Despite their warnings, I couldn't stop eating...
