Terrible (!) AC. Atmosphere was a bit noisy but not horrible like Manam or Nono. Seating in the very back was uncomfortable. Service was slow and nearly no English. Only one menu; we had to go manually pick up more menus. Order was given and taken accurately. Mine was a tom yum pork and shrimp soup. There were two small shrimps total. Not three. TWO. WITH SHELLS. The Tom yum soup was good and the crispy pork was good but the combination didn't work at all together so the soup gets 2 stars. When finished had a hard time getting a server to take the desert order. Ordered the mango. They didn't have it. Then ordered the chocolate pudding. Of course they didn't have that either. Look, if you don't have items that you advertise as available, at least have the professionalism and courtesy to mark them in the typical se Asia fashion as follows: "NO HAVE", so customers don't waste their time deciding on a dish that you don't even have. Honestly, in many se asian restaurants you can find a third or three fifths of an entire menu marked NO HAVE. It's because management fails to grasp that you must reorder supplies BEFORE you run out. To not do so is unprofessional, lazy, and just plain stupid. Would we ever go back here? Not a chance. UPDATE: Two people sick all night and both had completely different orders. Downgraded from two stars to one. Avoid. Not a well run place in too many respects. Actually, we're...
Read moreWent here for Sunday dinner. Okay food, horrible horrible service.
Was brought to a table that wasn’t completely set up because a party of 16 arrived so the server went to then instead
While ordering, I asked a few questions like how many pieces was this, only to be replied to by the server “Di ko sir alam”, without initiative to ask another server the possible answer to my questions.
Ordered the famous crispy pata, laksa, salted egg fried rice, gising gising, kare-kare. Food arrived fast.
Crispy pata was good. Crisp skin, popsicle stick tender meat. I get it why they’re famous for this.
Laksa was not good. Bland and watery. Salted egg fried rice was good. Not too salty, a bit oily. Gising gising was good but lacks the kick/spice. Kare kare was a bit watery, vegetables were good but only a few pieces of tripe.
When we asked for the bill, was surprised to find out that it was cash only basis. We weren’t advised before we sat down. The server said to her defense “Sinabihan ko kayo sir kaso busy kayo nagcecellphone.” - to my dismay, very disrespectful I told her that she should at least wait for acknowledgement.
Overall, horrible service. Dirty restaurant, dirty CR. Food was...
Read moreI saw this restaurant from a VLOGGER as they went to try different kinds of CRISPY PATA from the cheapest to the expensive ones!
We went here around 12:30PM, there's a lot of diners already compare to the other restaurants besides them.
The purpose is to try their famous CRISPY PATA which we did. It's CRISPY OUTSIDE, SOFT/JUICY INSIDE!
Waiters are very attentive as they are all MEN! The only women I think is their CASHIER.
The place is kinda DARK for me which made me feel SLEEPY. The creepy part here is their RESTROOM! Lol Was imagining a GHOST might show up while I'm peeing! Hahaha
Will surely visit this restaurant again. 👌🏻
RATINGS:
CRISPY PATA 9/10
