The service here is not great and some of the hygiene is questionable.
I went in for a quick slice of bread and butter budding (a dish of my people and feeling quite nostalgic about it) around 7/8pm.
So keen was I that i overlooked that fact that the putting is open to the air, not under any type of shelf to protect it, but placed right between two cashier points with people coming and going, talking and leaning over the pudding, a big hygiene issue for this pudding that i have seen every time i have been in there in that same position. :S
After ordering, paying and being told to wait for the cream that comes with it i waited 20minutes, pudding in hand but no cream yet.
After 20 minutes i asked them what was going on and they went to the kitchen to find out, unknown time later they came back and said they didn't have cream, in fairness they THEN offered an alternative of ice cream.
However, i live 30min away and ice cream would be gone by that point.
As the pudding had been cut for me and would just stale on all sides if they took it back i offered this, the pudding cost 250 peso... (Expensive for bread, butter, cinnamon, and raisins but like i say... nostalgia.) so if they deducted 50 pesos, i could use that money to go and buy cream from the super-market... everyone would be happy, no? .. no.
They said they cannot do this because they have no way to reduce the cost of an item, its upsetting they would feel the need to lie like that but its ok.. even though it was the manager that happened to have said that in passing to me, i was not angry over pudding and said ok.
I then requested a return and refund because well... nostalgia unsatisfied without the cream and why should i pay for something i am not getting?
They all looked at me like i was an Alian :D common in the Philippines as refunds are unheard of, but we are dealing with a company that is catered to the western market serving largely western cuisine, a fair service should also be expected.
I managed to get my money back, which is still a shame as i explained i was more than happy to purchase the worth of the pudding minus the cream, being that it was 8pm that pudding is either... going to waste, going in be sold to the next person, or going to be sold the next day after being left in the air over night.
I suspect that the burned top like charcoal would be good reasoning to their customers for the hard outer shell when in case the pudding is old.
I always enjoyed the food at this restaurant at this location but not the hardheaded approach and all or nothing nature of the management has put me off along with the out in the open hygiene questions i have, if they do that in plain sight imagine in...

I had a fantastic experience at Wildflour Uptown Ritz. Even though I didn’t have a reservation, the staff were incredibly well-trained and attentive. When I asked if we could get a table, the hostess immediately said, “Since you have no reservation, I can still get you in, but I need you out by 11AM for the next guest.” I loved how quick and decisive she was; it set the tone for the excellent service that followed.
Once seated, they immediately poured us water and were quick to take our order. We got a butter croissant for my toddler, and it was served hot and fresh. It was so good that we had to order another one! For the main meal, we tried the beef tapa with fried rice, and I have to say, the fried rice alone was so delicious you almost didn’t need the tapa. The adobo pork wasn’t my usual style, but it was still enjoyable, especially as an occasional order.
The tapa was tender and packed with flavor, and the sunny side up eggs were cooked to perfection; crispy whites with that perfect gooey center. We were a group of three adults and one toddler, but the waitress immediately brought extra plates so we could share everything easily. It’s small touches like this that make a big difference.
The strawberry lychee drink was also a pleasant surprise; perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and really refreshing. Paying was quick and seamless; asked for the bill, and the entire transaction was done in less than a minute! Came to 2200 pesos (tip included)
Overall, I’m already craving that fried rice again as I write this. The staff’s professionalism and attention to detail made it a 5/5 experience. I will...
Read moreMy friend and I dine at Wild Flour whenever she is in town. Luckily, I made a reservation because the place was fully packed on a Tuesday morning, a week into the new year. We both ordered the Homemade Longganisa Breakfast. My friend paired it with Vietnamese latte while I had a capuccino.
The two pieces longganisa were shaped like thick disks instead of being stuffed in a sausage encasing. They were huge! The meal was served in a deep bowl. The fried rice formed the base covered by the fried eggs, then topped with the sweet/savory longganisa with achara . It was a flavorful meal made more delicious by our conversation.
It took nearly 30 minutes for our order to arrive. Since we managed our expectations early on, we politely reminded the wait staff about our meal. They came to our table a number of times to assure us that it would be ready in 15 more minutes. We ate heartily when it was served. A second seating was scheduled after three hours, so we paid our bill promptly and had dessert somewhere else.
For a stress-free dining experience, it is advisable to read diners' feedback on the food, service, price, and ambiance before making a reservation. We spent P1,500 for our breakfast, net of SC discount.
Despite the full house, the noise level was low. This is a big plus for me. Parking at Landers is expensive but convenient when it's...
