This is a beautiful restaurant and the staff are welcoming and friendly. We dined in yesterday by chance and came in today again by choice.
The food is impressive and delicious both in value and taste.
I typically am not a burger person but my partner ordered the mini burgers as an appetizer for us to share. Most burgers I try have usually been disappointing in bun and patty quality. But these mini burgers were juicy, served hot, and had the perfect mouth feel for each bite I took. The juices flowed into my mouth and I was taken aback by how flavorful each bite was.
The other dishes were great as well. The seafood spaghetti, salmon tartar, and canelones were note worthy.
Our server today was Rico and he was a genuinely friendly person and server. I really appreciate how he and the rest of the staff today took great care of us and our needs. Geraldine was the manager yesterday and today and the flow of the service and of our meal was perfect.
Thank you again to the staff at the back and front of Las Flores for our wonderful dining...
Read moreWe had been there the night before and sat on the terrace drinking sangria and listening to the saxophone player. The ambience of this Spanish restaurant appealed to me, as a German I have spent large parts of my life on the island of Tenerife. After eight months in the Philippines, it's good to speak some Spanish again and eat Spanish food. The staff there are really exceptionally friendly and helpful and it's a pleasure to eat there. The design of the restaurant is also 100% to my taste. Unfortunately, I was not very satisfied with the quality of the food. The chipirones consisted mainly of breadcrumbs, they could hardly be tasted. The green salad was okay, unfortunately the dressing tasted like instant. The 600g ribeye for just under 8k was unfortunately already cold when it arrived at the table. The quality of the meat and preparation was impeccable, but unfortunately the presentation was lacking. Such a large piece of meat should always be served on a hot plate. I was also lucky to miss some side dishes, such as grilled vegetables, the potatoes served were largely tasteless and the sour cream was a cheap ready-made product. I also have to criticize the crema catalana I ordered, which was not crema catalana, but vanilla pudding (ready-made product) with a layer of burnt brown sugar. I had this returned and it was kindly taken off the bill. All in all, the culinary experience was unfortunately not satisfactory for me and the price-performance ratio was not right for me. I will not be returning.
Read moreOk rating it a 4 out of 5. Food pretty good overall but hey, no one’s perfect and there are some issues. First - atmosphere. The patio area is - shabby. No point in pulling punches. Not inviting to sit there. Come on management you can sort it out, seriously! Second -indoors, lights were so bright- like sitting in a dentists chair. Thankfully, they turned down the lights upon request 🙏. Only 1 of five red wines by the glass was available and 2 out of 5 whites. I settled for rose which was fine. For food - the best tapa is made to order, and that seems to be what they do. We (2 people) had gambas (yum), aglio Olio (yum), croquetas de chorizo (yum) and Callos con Garbanzos (ok la). Bread was good and additional brought free on request. A few tweaks and this resto could go from good to great 😊. A few more traditional tapas dishes on the menu would be nice too. Oh!! By the way, we wanted Paella but we’re only 2, so didn’t order. A big table next to us got 2 pans and it...
