FOOD MARKET BGC IS THE WORST!!!! WE MADE A RESERVATION FOR MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE, DAYS AHEAD. WHEN WE WENT THERE THEY SAID WE DID NOT HAVE A RESERVATION SO WE SPENT ALMOST 30 MINUTES GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THE MANAGER ON DUTY, I THINK SHE WAS. SQUARE HAIRED LADY WITH BANGS. EVEN IF WE HAVE A TEXT MESSAGE IT DOESNT COUNT? SAID WE WERE OVER 15 MINUTES WHEN THEY WERENT PAYING ATTENTION TO US AND STAFFS ARE PASSING US TO ANOTHER STAFF SAYING THEY DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE RESERVATION. THEY HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE QUEUED OUTSIDE AND THEY WERE VERY DISORGANIZED!THE PLACE IS SO SMALL AND CRAMPED! WHEN THEY WERE ABLE TO SIT US INSIDE THEY WANTED TO DIVIDE OUR GROUP. HALF STAY DOWNSTAIRS AND HALF UPSTAIRS? WHY? WE DID A RESERVATION,YOU SHOULD HAVE SET ASIDE A FULL CHAIR FOR ALL OF US. THE LADY ALSO KEPT ROLLING HER EYES, SUCH BAD ATTITUDE. WE WASTED TOO MUCH TIME WITH THIS PLACE AND WE WILL NEVER GO BACK! THE FOOD WASNT GREAT. THE PLACE ISN'T EVEN SANITARY, THERE ARE SMALL COCKROACHES AND THAT IS A NO NO IN THE FOOD BUSINESS! THE SPOONS AND FORKS ARENT EVEN WASHED WELL, THERE ARE STILL STAIN OF HARDENED RICE. THE FOOD DOESNT TASTE GREAT AT ALL. THERE WERE NO CUPS FOR COFFEE! THE KIMCHI RICE IS TASTELESS, THE CHAMPORADO TOO, AND SO ON. THE FOOD WASNT WARM! FOOD IS SO WORST! NOT WORTH 499 PER PERSON! STAFFS ARE SO UNFRIENDLY! THE CEILING ON THE SECOND FLOOR IS TOO LOW AND THE AIRCONS FANS ARE FULL BLAST ON YOUR HEAD! THIS IS THE WORST BUFFET EVER! NOT DESERVING OF BGC! REALLY...

Filipino cuisine buffet targeting night shifters.

They serve breakfast viands. Lechon Paksiw has somewhat funky aftertaste like the pig wasnt thoroughly cleaned or a distinct smell for a male pig.

Beef tapa has burnt taste than that of smoky flavor.

Scrambled egg is pure no salt.

Garlic rice is in a mushy side but its not spoiled.

Dried danggit fish is good as no preparation is needed. Black danggit has a slight bitter taste and thats normal compared to white danggit.

Sweet and sour fish is more on the sour side and its a cream dory filet.

Red tea and other juices are definitely made from commercial products.

Chicken arroz caldo has overpowering turmericky and peppery flavor.

Siomai of any flavor has interesting taste, I did not taste any difference from the 3 kinds.

Lettuce salad is I think good but interestingly, the dressing was a bit off, seems like an incomplete dressings of vinegarette and authentic ceasar dressing combined.

Sapin sapin dessert has the authentic good flavor.

Service delivery is not bad but I think needs improvement. No tissue.

Environment is dim as opposed to a breakfast service, it fell short of my expectation. A breakfast service at night I believe should have a bright lights. White walls. Morning music.

Kitchen is exposed to customers so it should be tidy and clean at all times. Used plates should not be beside the counter where you pay your bill.

Reservation wwnt smoothly, thanks to the manager. Table is cleaned...

Visited last Friday, October 7 (12mn). Tried to call them for reservation but no one answers. So we just tried our luck for walk-in. We were there around 11:50pm and there was a long queue already. We were 4th on the line for 2 pax coz someone cut my line and the attendant/staff still accommodated them.

We waited almost 1hr and half just to be accommodated. Foods were slowly refilled. (Dont go there late, no more food left). I was budol by tiktok about this trending midnight buffet breakfast. That time they served, dangit, dilis, meatballs, hainanese chicken, pancit canton, eggs, laksa soup, pao, siomai (like the one in the street), thai giniling, etc. and I find it not worth the hyped.

The walk-ins queue is not organized. Foods are so limited. No spanish breads as they advertised. Maybe they change the menu everyday and sadly wrong timing with us. You can still try it. But for me, I was very disappointed. Will never go back. 👎🏻 sorry just my own experience and opinion.

Restaurant ambience is good 8/10 Service is 2/10. Food is taste good but...

Honest Review 📝 Went to my family at Food Market Manila last Friday. We always hang out in BGC and sa me time buffet lovers that’s why we line up that weekend for the first batch of the ULTIMATE MIDNIGHT BREAKFAST BUFFET! The food selections are perfect. Place was Instagrammable too📸. I started from 🥗 salad, to soup and of course I loved the US angus beef belly. Then I enjoyed the New Yorker Pizza and Pasta. And if your a breaker lover like me you’ll enjoy the Pinoy favorite breakfast like egg, Tocino, danggit, and loved their Ube Champorado with danggit! They have wide selection of pastries and even crepes. The place was really big and most of all they really have excellent service. Staffs are very accommodating even if they are always full of customers. It’s a midnight buffet experience will never forget. Happy tummy. Perfect for families, Friends, couples and even co-workers.
