5 star for the food, 5 star for the waiter till the moment we were paying the bill- the waiter gets 1 star in the end coz we got the feeling that he tried to cheat us. The bill was 271 pln, my friend who was paying with credit card said we will pay 290 pln as we wanted to also include a tip. The waiter repeated - 300 pln? We said, no, no, 290 pln. Then he put the number in the card reader - 320 pln. My friend was too embarrassed to say something about it and paid the price he entered. With 320 pln, we basically tipped 18% which is not the norm of 5-10% in Poland. Is it a miscommunication? We don’t know. But it left a very bad taste in our mouth.
