I came across this nice cafe by chance in my street food hunt for a Ukrainian food cart close by, and it wasn't there. I was craving for the fried pierogi, and when I saw Azima had something similar via the window, I had to check it out. Funny thing, I thought it was Turkish pastry and when I asked the polite staff, she said it's Crimean Tatar pastry. I was equally surprised and thrilled to try a new cultural samosa. I ordered the lamb and beef ones, and they were nice. The corners were a bit doughy, but it was still a nice savory snack. They are huge too. The coffee was good too. The kind staff, called Maria heated the latte as requested, and shared a bit about Crimean Tatar history while preparing the coffee. I like listening to storytelling, and I was enlightened about the history, language, and the food migration process. I didn't try the Turkish delights or the sweets, so can't comment on them. Food: Samsa with chicken & onion was tasty, as was the one with cabbage. Very tasty, and the samsa itself is big, so after eating just one you can actually feel full enough.
Service: The personnel is very nice and accommodating, eager to advise or explain any dish.
Atmosphere: The place is tidy and cosy, there's also an option to dine outdoors or take out (which is exactly what we did).
P.S.: Honestly, my grandma is tatar, but not crimean tatar, so I was not sure which snacks would be available (öçpoçmaq or samsa??). However, I was pleased to see that there was variety - samsa, lohum, etc., a lot of turkish desserts. Тәмле һәм матур))

Read moreOk. So I will start with saying it's super pretty here and the service is good. But the lady at the counter doesn't speak Polish well and doesn't remember the prices correctly. It was not a big deal as the prices aren't big in general but still I ordered one baklava and one rose milk drink. I paid more for the milk tea and I got charged for two baklavas ( although here I got two). That's the only minus here I would say. The drink was warm and sweet, baklava was also fresh tasting and good. They have a variety of sweet and a few savory options. I will probably come here again next time I visit the location is pretty good. Near center but not too crowded. Also the inside design is...
