When I walked in to this museum I had no idea what it actually was, so I was very surprised to learn so much about what is the oldest structure in Gdansk. The guided tour is pre-recorded and played over a PA system in either Polish or English, which is mega-convenient! Hearing the history of this (once) church, you realize just how tied-in to the entire history of Gdansk it is. From the very beginning when the City was first settled, through every single war (major or minor), this building really had been through the wars, so to speak. What remains is the entire basement level of the church and inside you'll see artifacts, several rooms and most surprisingly, a wall made entirely of human remains! We went on Sunday they asked us to wait outside 20 minutes for the next 10 people group to enter, and we were waiting, then suddenly a big group of tourist reached and the museum guide and guard gave priority to them even when they asked us to wait outside for 20 minutes The tourists wanted to start arguing for them to enter first and didnt let us enter and even though, the guard and guide gave priority to them for majority . They asked us to came back again in 30 minutes after the group. Is not fair how this "free entrance " on Sunday gave priority to guided tours...
