Augusta — Restaurant in Krakow

Came in on a whim as walking the boulevard was too cold. I was lured by the tall barka with the upper deck behind the glass which allowed for a nice view. My friend wanted a desert and had tiramisu in a glass. Said it was good. I had virgin mojito (pretty standard) and we both had hot tea. Being from the States I ordered the burger without the cheese. The waitress could not tell what kind of bread or buns they used (i craved brioche or pretzel but it was just a normal Polish bun). The waitress wasn't really interested in checking with us other than taking the order and the payment. I wanted ketchup for my order but gave up waiting. There was a medium sized party going on so she forewarned us they were busy. I was rather disappointed what the deal was with 2 women and a bartender attending only a handful of people, but another group of Brits arrived and they got their drinks fast. I think they could use a bit more customer service skill training... Overall good spot for the bite on the water, but I expected a better...

1st of all, I need to say that this review is directed to management. 4 of us, 2 pizzas 4 beers..simple huh? Should have been!! 10 min wait from sitting down to being approached with menus. Pizzas were delicious and beer was cold. But....the attention paid by staff and the length of time to get the bill to pay was horrendous! We even went to bar asked for bill, sat back down and still it didn't arrive. We went to bar after 10mins wait to pay there..guy behind bar didn't even know what we had ordered..we owned up to everything lol. So if you are going here, expect a long wait. Management if you read this, you could have made double the amount of money from us by asking us immediately we sat F Down if we wanted drinks..they would have needed refilled by the time the pizzas arrived. Also, considering offering sides such as fries or garlic bread etc. And finally put some speedieness into your staff as it was painful to watch the slowness of everything. The boat...

I was excited to discover a new restaurant in Krakow. Setting fine however food was less thsn average. Ordered black linguini with shrimps and mussels. Linguini came with the head of a shrimp cut out bu NO shrimps!. When I complained to the manager, he rudely told that the dish is served like that. He categorically refused to do something to please his customer and told me that I have to pay for the dish even though I felt short-changed and cheated. This type of unfriendly management in the hospitality industry cannot be commended nor tolerated. Krakow offers better quality food and service than what i have experienced this evening. Too bad as the location of the restaurant is pleasant . I'm NOT...
