Why not?Why not?
This place used to be one of our favorite spots in Krakow. The food was great, and more importantly, the atmosphere created by the staff was always warm and welcoming. The team working here has always been kind, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. It was a pleasure to come in and see familiar, smiling faces who truly made this restaurant feel special. Unfortunately, things have drastically changed since the ownership changed. The quality of the food and the overall service has gone downhill. While the staff still tries their best, you can clearly see how exhausted and demoralized they are. It’s heartbreaking to witness such good people being treated poorly by the new management. There is no respect from the new owner toward the team or the guests. The owner we met was an extremely unpleasant person — arrogant to the extreme and, frankly, seems to have no idea how the restaurant business works. He clearly has no experience, and the fact that he was able to turn such a great place into what it is now — a complete disappointment and disaster — says everything. It’s obvious he has no respect for the history of this place, nor for the people who made it what it was. The redesign of the interior is tasteless and soulless — it completely stripped away the charm and character that once made this place feel unique and inviting. It’s genuinely sad to see such a promising and beloved spot fall apart so quickly. We no longer come here with joy — we come out of habit and leave disappointed, mostly feeling sorry for the staff who are clearly suffering under the new regime. There are so many great places to eat in Krakow. Unfortunately, this is no longer one of them. I do not recommend it.

Lovely new place in town! Interesting menu, loads to choose from. We went for chicken shish taouk and hummus with minced meat. Generally the food was good, but there was room for improvement. Chicken taouk is served with fries (which I am not a fan of) and unfortunately I was told that it’s not possible to choose another side dish instead. Hummus with minced meat was served with pita bread, however, it was served cold and quite tough/ chewy, would have been great to have it warmed up a bit. Passion fruit lemonade was awesome though, nice presentation too. Otherwise the place has great interior, nice ambience, staff is friendly. Would come back to give this place another try!

I love visiting Baron from Monday to Thursday. It’s dog friendly, they have a quite, lovely and calm atmosphere, suitable for outdoor work. I also enjoy their meals, you should try their business lunch from 2 dishes and lemonade it’s delicious. And of course I can’t mention you can order amazing Shisha as a desert to make your visit absolutely great (from Monday to Thursday they have happy hours when you can order Shisha for just 50 PLN). Atmospheric interior, tasty food, great Shisha and affordable prices! Definitely approved for visiting alone or having a date with your partner!

I went to Baron with my brother last week. The place was nothing short of perfect. As we walked in we were quickly attended to by our server who seated us down. The table and the whole building seemed to be in very clean shape. The service was always prompt when it came to requests and ordering. I ordered the burger and chips while my brother ordered pizza. Both of us were very satisfied with our meals. After our meal the owner by the name of Hayder asked us how everything was. He was a very warm character with a radiant smile. We saw him checking up on his staff and other customers, a true gent. We spent the week in Krakow and Baron was undoubtably one of the best dining experiences we had. The interior was eye catching with a variety of colour and greenery. I would recommend Baron to anyone who is in Krakow. It is a lovely meal in a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing establishment. We will definitely...
