I really want to give five stars. It feels like it ought to get five. And yet I can't quite bring myself to do it. The service is excellent, decor lovely and food good. But the food feels a little over done. Not over cooked but just a touch carried away. I asked for orange juice and the glass comes on a plate with a garnish of fruit. Why? It's an unnecessary addition and doesn't really add to the dish. Similar for some other items. Don't get me wrong, they do food very well and you won't be disappointed. Quality is very good. Coffee (a key marker for excellence!) is balanced, rich and made properly. Yet it's just not quite five stars. Take the bread rolls that came with breakfast eggs.... They are utterly tiny. Not mini, tiny. Yes they're cute but it's form over function. It feels like they are trying too hard to be different, to give themselves an edge. The thing is they don't need to. Their food is of such quality that they have the edge without the over complications. They're not adding, they're subtracting. Which is a shame because this place, already great, could be...
Read moreLet me tell you a story. It's not a good story, but it's mine nevertheless. I was walking the dark streets of Krakow. The night was dark and cold, so my friends and I decided to warm our bones with a hot beverage. And there it was, our salvation, our light at the end of a dark tunnel: "Camelot Lulu" café. We went inside, and the warm air hit us. We instinctively knew we were in the right place. The pleasant staff gave us menus, and we chose our drinks: a coffee with milk, two teas, and a hot chocolate. They were fine, no, they were outstanding! But who cares about hospitality and the quality of drinks? What matters most is the toilet. And may I say, I was in love! That place was huge! It had a portrait of some dude in an impressionist style, and there was a freaking loudspeaker inside playing music. I felt like a king sitting on a throne. The experience was amazing, and I would visit again. May you have luck in all your endeavors. Live long...
Read moreHi, We ordered multiple meals per person. The staff didnt serve the Tea with Turkish egg which comes with tea/coffee. When we asked for the coffee they said it was already served and when we showed it didnt come to the table, they started ignoring us.
I asked from another waiter (young thin man curly blonde hair) if I could have the tea and had he said "calm down" (?!!) Then the girl waitress shouted on the other side of the room that the tea is coming and you're not the only guest in this restaurant ! I asked them what's with the attitude and they mentioned it's because we are unpleasant.
The experience was AWEFUL to say the least.
Edit: either they are lying or you are lying to save face. Nobody shouted at your staff or insulted them in any way. Since there was no manager available on Saturday I suppose u have Cameras there to check. Yr reply actually proves my point about yr customer service....
