We were 30 minutes late and our reservation was cancelled. There is no information about that 15 minutes rule on your website. So we were not served. Totally disappointed.
UPD: On the next visit we were asked to delete our negative review because we were "not right" about the situation and bad reviews are so bad for the business... Aside from that, now they serve tea with a half-empty teapot to force you to order 2x more tea servings (for the same price per serving of course). Other dishes had noticeably smaller servings as well. Also Caesar salad was 80% of just pure lettuce & cabbage with 5 bites of chicken and a little bit of bacon. Should be renamed to "Moo Moo Salad", I guess? I don't know if it is a new policy or that is because we've got a "bad reputation" after our negative review, but this time was our last time at Moo Moo.
UPD2, Reply to the owner: I don't want to be misunderstood and I would like to emphasize that I had no issues with the staff. I appreciate the hospitality, friendliness and taking in account of guests' habits and preferences. The staff did not offend us in any way. Again, the first problem was in the lack of info about reservation policies on your website and no, we didn't receive an email about canceled reservation. This was a big deal for us that day cause we spent a lot of time on the road to your restaurant. Just add a small message on your website, seriously, it's not a lot of work. But this is not what turned us off completely... The tea. Yes, it was the tea. It's just not right to start pouring only half of a teapot of water and keep the same price for the serving. That teapot that you have is quite small by itself and when you add only 1/2 of water it is like 200ml max! So now, if you want a regular cup of tea you have to spend 2x more? This is just too bad and greedy of a business approach. We thought of it as a mistake initially, but then we ordered 2 more teas and it was the same half of teapot in each! Read moreAfter a super busy day in zakopane we decided to try this restaurant. We weren’t really dressed for the occasion much to my horror. But I’m hoping I still rocked casual wear! From the minute we walked in, waitresses were ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Smiling, helpful and said although we hadn’t booked… they could find us a table downstairs :) we had a beautiful bottle of wine and a couple of beers. Followed by the amazing surf and turf which is quite possibly the best steak Ive ever had. Cooked to perfection along with a burger. The only downfall I felt was a group of people in the corner who were quite loud. I love a good night out at the best of times and can always handle noise but felt this kind of ruined the ambience for such a beautiful place filled with couples mostly, on romantic nights out. I did mention this to the waitress who was completely apologetic, and informed me that this was the owners in a group downstairs. However, for the 3rd time, I went alone as a walkin early (515pm ish) only to be told by host that getting a table for 1 'was impossible'. This was despite the ground floor being half empty and reservation markers not placed on all tables - there were 3 within 15 feet. It was not that busy for seating 1 person who planned to spend 45 minutes tops. If all tables were reserved, then markers should have been clearly placed on all tables. If this is a detractor to having single patrons dine, that is a bigger issue. Telling a guest that something is impossible is not the best way to keep clientele and regulars, something front of house staff should be educated.
