My partner saw this place recommended on social media, so we thought why not give it a go.
Honestly, although the whole "subway for pizza" is a novel idea and unique, the layout of the restaurant kind of ruins the whole experience as it becomes a mess when it's busy. It was a busy night and everyone was completely blocking the doorway as that's where you have to stand to be in the queue to actually order your pizza and choose your toppings. People couldn't leave without jostling everyone in the queue.
It's also not made obvious how you're meant to do things as everything is on boards on the counters, which were obviously blocked from view by the amount of customers. When we got to see the boards, it was our turn and we were kind of put on the spot about our order. There was also barely any indication about how or where to pay. I saw another customer get his pizza and he wanted it to take away, only for the staff to say that that needed to be said at the start and he needed to pay extra for the box. Not obvious.
There were a lot of options for the pizzas. A couple for the base bread and lots of choices for toppings, whether meats or veggies. However, with how fast the kitchen staff were moving, lots of toppings were being cross-contaminated. We ended up with olives on our pizza despite never asking for any.
I can't really blame the staff as they were friendly and it was a busy night, but cross-contamination could be an issue for those with allergies and more care should be taken there.
Although the pizza itself ended up being really nice and the price was also really good for what you get, ultimately the whole experience was hampered by the general layout of the restaurant and a bit of lack of care by the staff.
A small addendum is that the onsite facilities were also lacking (one single...
Read moreAlright, listen up! I gotta spill the beans about Pizza Topia in Cracow ‘cause it’s straight-up awesome! When I strolled in, the place had this chill vibe that made me feel like I was kickin’ back at a friend’s house. And man, the staff? Super friendly and all about that customer service, with smiles on their faces all the time.
Now, let’s talk pizza, my friend. Holy moly, it was a flavor party in my mouth! The crust was crispy perfection, the cheese was melt-in-your-mouth goodness, and those toppings? Fresh as can be, bursting with flavor. Pizza Topia got creative with their menu, so I tried stuff I never even knew existed, and it was a tasty adventure.
What I loved most was the attention to detail and the top-notch ingredients. You could tell they put their heart and soul into making each pie. It wasn’t just about slapping toppings together—it was artistry. These chefs knew what they were doing, and it showed.
But it ain’t just about the food, my friend. The whole vibe at Pizza Topia was rad. It’s the kind of place where you can hang out with your crew, shoot the breeze, and chow down on some seriously scrumptious pizza. The atmosphere was cool, laid-back, and totally down-to-earth.
Listen up, folks! You gotta check out Pizza Topia when you’re in Cracow. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this joint is a must-visit. Get ready for a taste explosion and a good time that’ll have you comin’ back for more. Trust me, you don’t wanna miss out on this...
Read moreOur first visit to Pizzatopia on Szewska Street was marked by high expectations, especially after encountering a long queue on our initial evening, which we took as a testament to the food's quality. However, our experience was soured by the unprofessional behavior of a staff member named Lina.
After waiting 35 minutes in line, we were greeted by a friendly young man who made our pizza-making experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, this positive interaction was completely overshadowed by Lina’s dismissive attitude at the payment counter. Rather than fostering a welcoming atmosphere, she displayed rudeness and condescension, laughing at our confusion and rolling her eyes when we struggled to understand her questions.
Despite our efforts to clarify our order, her responses were sarcastic and belittling, leaving us feeling embarrassed rather than supported. Even as we attempted to pay contactless, her dismissive body language and forced smiles added to our discomfort.
The food itself was delicious, but the overall experience was marred by Lina’s unprofessionalism. It’s disheartening to see one person's behavior undermine the hard work of others. As we left, we questioned whether we would return to a place that could so easily ruin an otherwise promising outing.
Pizzatopia has potential, but a staff member like Lina can easily turn customers away. We hope management addresses this issue to ensure a more positive experience for...
