Posiadówka — Restaurant in Krakow

The wonderful thing about travelling is that you can step into the most random places and find some absolute gems.

All restaurants were full on a Thursday night but this little tavern sandwiched among many other eateries offered a starter, main course and one litre of beer for around €15, which was incredibly good value for money.

Server dropped boiling hot chocolate over my wife and did nothing to help , luckily we ordered sprite to cool down initially. Otherwise severe burns, still some blistering. Owner ignored us and server only keeps repeating next hot chocolate is for free. As if we still wanted to eat there when she is covered in chocolate and drinks and burned?! Dont care about no refund but do care about the 0 empathy/ help offered after she burns someone. Bad impression on our second day in...

I visited this cosy little bar back in July 2021, it was conveniently located across the road from my hostel.

I had the pork stew with dumplings and a pint of dark beer. It was sensational. I have since recommended this place to a couple of friends, one who visited and ate the same meal and had the same amazing experience.

If I’m ever back in Krakov I will 100% be visiting again. And, anyone who knows me who is due to visit, I will recommend Posiadówka to...
