Sakana Sushi&Sticks Kraków — Restaurant in Krakow

TL DR: Astonishing experience, this restaurant definitely should be on your must visit list!

Stuff - friendly, joking and talkative (what includes not only waiter but chiefs and even manager) makes you feel really welcome in here. Food - newly opened in Krakow, but I can assure you that it must be already top rated, as the long menu list with wide variety of dishes that will taste each and every customer from classic ones to author chief's selection. Atmosphere - leaves dual feeling on the first point of view, as chill music and interior is mixed with hall form which allows you to see the entertaining sushi preparation process. From time to time feels a bit overcrowded but it's feeling is completely resolved by inspired by every process manager, who was everywhere (special thanks to him, because watching the inspiration like this make you really inspired by how complimentary the atmosphere feels), controlling service level, helping in kitchen, keeping warm conversations with customers and even serving and taking down dishes during busy times (and all this done with expert accuracy and speed). A cozy restaurant well located, a bit far from the 'crazy' centern Kraków tourism, correct service and nicely decorated.

The menu offers a good variety of japanese kitchen without forgetting their specialty is sushi.

The product is absolutely top, it is quite obvious they are exporting high category quality goods to produce their gastronomy. You can perfectly notice it not only from the meats and seafood but even in the big, full of water and fresh vegetables they are using in the kitchen. Nontheless about the flavours, I should make a little point about the chef's specialities, which were made with a great of taste but I've found half of them not as something really different from a just good sushi restaurant and not that appropriate from an eatery with that category, that, and this little note for the service will make me go for a 4/5 instead of a 5/5:

If you ask three times in a row a costumer if he decided what to eat and he/they wasn't so sure, it is always appreciated to receive some advices from the local.

Well, this is absolutely an overpriced place with some noticeable issues. First of all, we were surprised that you may not always get what you ordered. We ordered 3 Futomaki sets one of which was with grilled salmon and avocado, but instead we've got something different like a cabbage instead of avocado. We realised once tasted and when we asked what is this set we ordered because there was no such combination of ingredients in menu, we were told that chef can actually replace ingredients by himself depending on his choice. Sorry, what? :) Another set was done really badly since it was falling apart and we could only grab it with a fork. Ice creams, soups and gyozas were nice though. There is a pleasant music playing as well. As a result, the price is indeed ridiculously high in comparison to other restaurants in Krakow for what we got in terms of main dish - sushi rolls. We expected an excellent service but instead got something less than regular. For the same amount of money we could have eaten well in Switzerland...
