Oh dear. Our visit was not good. We thought it was a restaurant for some reason so took a table but no one came over or asked us to buy at the counter. After being ignored for 15 minutes, we went up and asked and got a menu. For some reason we found it confusing. The price structure was not clear. Basically they do wraps and taco's. You pay a set price and choose fillings but could not mix the selections so meat comes with certain fillings but these couldn't be included with the veggie option - or something like that. What we wanted we couldn't have and the staff weren't terribly helpful, just stared a lot which made us feel uncomfortable. In the end we just had the staff recommendation because we couldn't work it out - chicken tacos. These weren't tacos but folded hot wraps, more like burritos. Only one arrived for 2 of us. No cutlery anywhere so we had to go up and ask and find it near the counter. The staff seem surprised that the two of us wanted a second taco! They huffily made us a second one which arrived as we shared the first on one plate, a second plate was not offered. The drinks were expensive at £2.50 each for a soft drink and the tacos were insufficiently filled, a bit flat and the whole meal was very pricey - London prices. Being clearly disabled, I would have expected a bit more friendliness and bringing our cutlery would not have been too much effort rather than watch my partner struggle up each time on a walking stick. I was surprised on many levels. I was confused as to their business model and how they expect to compete against mostly much better eating places. It all needs improvement - customer service, pricing, quality and selection of foods and general atmosphere was lacking. Was it a posh take-away with tables or a cafe? With restaurant prices though? It didn't make sense or make for a comfortable meal but a very basic and expensive snack. I'll never go there to feel...
Read moreOrdered twice. Disappointed twice. The quesadillas have about 2% meat; 2; cheese; 10% red beans (I think rajma-not refried, pinto, or black); the vast majority of the quesadilla is filled with thick-cut salsa which appears to be a sibling of pico de Gallo. I so want to like this place, because I absolutely love Mexican food and I work right down the street; however, they cannot seem to get an order right or work out the ratio of ingredients belong in the dishes. If there is one thing that I am confident reviewing, it is Mexican food. This is deserving of two stars and it blows my mind how highly it is rated based on my experience. It may be the lack of competition. I do not know.... To be fair, I have had worse Mexican food in my life, but not very often. The tortillas are well made and seem fresh. I hate being disappointed by my food -especially Mexican food that I look so forward to. I have thrown away enough money from this place.
I cannot comment on the desserts, because -although charged- I never...
Read moreWe asked for edible spicy and they gave killer spicy food which will not edible to any human being. Our tongue and nose are burning and not sure what will happen to our intestines. We will end up with gastritis and all sort of stomach issues in long term with such spicy addition and should be banned for wellness of any human being. Burritos and quasadialas are not worth the price. I just read multiple reviews and many complain about that they didnt expect this much spicy. That shows their spiciness level is over the earth standard (may be some other planet we don't know!). One hand they say they serve healthy food and other hand they make spicy no one else make on this planet to make customers suffer with diarrhea (some call it as food poisoning in some reviews I guess). Time to take the feedback and review/remove the spiciness options (especially on bolt where we ordered no way this extra spicy can be explained) for sustainable business and health service...
