Tacoteka — Restaurant in Krakow

Apparently if you order something twice it's too much fuss to make something two times, so they just send one item, and don't see it as a big deal. The portions are small, the flavour is just ok and the sauces are just dumped so they spill completely (and cold as ice, so no point of putting this on lukewarm rm food). Honestly - avoid, this is a literal waste of money.

Edited: Happy to share 'all the truth', as per the response from the owner: Firstly, there was no apology on the phone - 'I'm sorry' goes a long way and is not exactly the same thing as 'Well if it's missing you should file a complaint with Pyszne, then' - this is something to consider in the future in the event of any complaints, it tends to show some understanding and empathy towards your listener. Secondly, 'you can collect your missing dish' (that I paid for, by the way) is not the same as 'a free dish', so if this was an offer of a free meal, this was an extremely poor phrasing. Not to mention that clearly If I had the means to travel to your location I would not use the delivery option, which I wrongly assumed was obvious. My mistake - I'm sorry (See? Not that hard). Thirdly, this is neither the first time I order food via Pyszne nor this is my first time ordering Mexican cuisine, so I'm well aware how the food can be transported without loosing heat (or contents) - you might want to look into your options here to at least try to keep up with your competition. Lastly, even if the food were spectacular (and it wasn't) I'd be a fool to order from a place that cannot count up to 2 and sees 'you can collect the missing dish if you come here' as diffusing an escalation on an order which was incomplete (i.e. I didn't get what I paid for). I would like to thank you for your response, though - your approach to my problem has shown I should not stop here and let all the people know how I feel about 'ok, complain to pyszne then' type of service, and now I'm sure I will not miss out on anything important if I avoid your place. I hope you're happy with my full review and I wish you a wonderful rest...

I was not impressed and here's why:

36 zl for 3 (small) quesabirria. This is perhaps okay(ish) for dinner prices, but there was no lunch offer, so it's expensive for the quantity. I left hungry. No Consommé, even the tacos had barely seen any sauce on them, tiny spot of Consommé on 1 of the tacos. No service, no smile, no greetings.

The dish tasted good, with fresh ingredients. But the price to ratio was off, especially for a lunch.

Nice with salsa on the table. Ingredients are fresh, no doubt about it.

Personally I wouldn't come back at these prices to quantity. But I leave 5 stars, as it's a small business so no need to run their score down, & the food is...

Absolutely wonderful discovery. I highly recommend the food of this restaurant. I enjoyed a mix plate of taco's, some chippies and dippies and a very lovely margarita. The Varation of the food was wonderful, each of the 6 taco's was unique and all very flavourful. Each bite I tried either bare or with a bit of the provided salsa's so no two bites were the same. The cocktail was great. Strong flavour, a bit spicy from the chili in the drink and a very smooth slurry of ice, not just very fine broken pieces of ice, but more like a slushy. A great companion to the meal.

Will definitely be returning with friends and family. Good...
