I went there for dinner with my family of five. The food was fresh and the portions were very generous. Although, I have to say on the heavy side. The potatoes in every dish tasted basically the same way. We have a habit of ordering different dishes and sharing (:- My youngest daughter ordered blueberry dumplings and she got a surprise, a one dumpling witch spinach. The service was ok, but not attentive. What surprised me the most was the service fee on our bill of 22 zl (we used a credit card) which I noticed at home. I'm not sure what this charge was for, a tip or a charge for using a credit card. Despite the service being mediocre we left a generous tip of 50 zl for the waitress. I guess when you go there pay attention to your bill and get ready to chase the waitress if you want something (:- We ordered potatoes pancakes with wild mushroom sauce, blueberry dumplings, schnitzel dish (which by the way they call on their menu pork chop which is not, the pork chop comes with a bone (:- , the barbecue baby back ribs with potatoes and duck dish, the duck was really good but the red beets tasted, let just say wired, it didn't go well with...
Read moreHad a couple hours spare so decided to eat some authentic polish food. The restaurant itself is great, was served straight away and the drinks and food arrived promptly.
The oscypek was great, this was my first time trying it and there was nothing bad about it, really tasty.
The beef tartar on the other hand was a let down, and that I was the most excited about, I had beef tartars before and I love them to bits; It was over salted and tasted too much like pickles, which didn’t help the salty problem… it was so salty in fact I couldn’t eat the whole thing.
I’m sure it might’ve been a mistake, I’ve seen reviews about the beef tartar and that it tasted great, so it might’ve just been that.
Overall, a really great value (I paid £20, for 2 appetisers, a coffee and a drink), great atmosphere with attentive and friendly waiters. Hopefully the saltiness of the beef tartar was a one time mistake because otherwise the food...
Read moreArrived in Kraków this morning, visited some places until it was time to find a place to have lunch. Found this little restaurant and decided to try out as I really wanted to try Polish food.
This was an amazing choice, I will remember my very first meal in Kraków. I had to try the pierogis (told my mom I wouldn't leave Kraków until I'd try them) so I asked for a suggestion, and I still can't believe how good these are 😍 The pierogis tasted amazingly good, I'm still not over it. My mother had the traditional cutlet and she found it as good as the pierogis.
The service was excellent, the atmosphere is amazing, I really liked the background music and the decorations. The waiter is amazing, very polite and caring. 🙌🏻
Thank you for everything, we had an amazing time eating at your restaurant, and we'll definitely be back!...
