UPDATE: Why are you lying and so aggressively attacking and insulting us? We did not do anything wrong. If you actually were to check your camera footage, you would find that it contains nothing that conflicts with the account I provided in my original review.

We did not notice a reservation sign at the booth that we originally selected, but since we had not even sat down at that table when the waiter directed us away from it we saw absolutely no problem with moving. Upon finding the tiny chair at the new table was for him completely intolerable, my husband walked to the bar to ask the waitress if he, himself, could bring a more comfortable chair in from outside (where, incidentally, it was not currently raining). The waitress did not move from her place and the only words that initially came from her mouth were twice, “No!”

Contrary to your dishonest assertion, we were never offered any drinks nor were we given the opportunity to order any. We were shown quite clearly that your staff would not make any effort to accommodate us, so we left. And, while I can assure you that it took us a prolonged moment to get up and walk outside, from what I could see the waitress never stirred an inch from the place at the bar where she had been so truculent with my husband. At no time was the waitress at all conciliatory, and she maintained a purely adversarial relationship with us the whole time that we were in your establishment.

Once again, we did not do anything wrong, nor do you have any camera footage that even remotely suggests we did. So, why are you insulting us? Unlike my husband, I am a native Pole, a professionally accomplished and well educated one. As such, I understand that I did not create America, nor did any other Pole. Further, I realize that Poland should not be proud of the way in which disabled, mobility-impaired, and other people of non-optimal appearance or body type are generally treated here.

We were in this restaurant on Tuesday at around 18:00. Because the place was pretty busy we were ordered by the waitress to abandon our booth and sit on chairs at a table. My disabled husband asked the waitress if he could exchange his chair for a small wicker chair outside because the tiny chair inside made it extremely difficult and painful for him to sit. The waiter did not want even to listen to his explanation and very rudely stopped him mid-sentence, barking “No!” at him twice and forcefully pointing at him as he spoke. No explanation, no empathy, no expression of understanding. I was shocked.

I know we are in Poland, but Joe Gonzales promotes itself as a hip bistro or burger bar where people can have an American-style dining experience. I can assure you, however, that no American would find the sort of treatment that this wait staff doles out to be acceptable.

There is absolutely no locale in the U.S. where a restaurant could survive while offering this kind of service, and if you are seeking a true American-style dining experience in Olsztyn you need to steer clear of Joe Gonzales. It looks this place is focusing on a very young Polish crowd, and families and other folks are just not...

Disappointing food quality despite the cool vibe

The place looks great from the outside and has a fun, vibrant atmosphere with a live DJ playing – very promising at first glance.

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly after that. The service was average – not particularly welcoming or attentive. But the biggest issue was the food.

I ordered the classic cheeseburger, which was a real letdown. The patty was small, dry, and resembled something from a fast-food chain like McDonald’s – completely lost in the oversized bun. The BBQ Burger has drowned in an excessive amount of sauce. The quality and flavor were just not there.

I also tried the keto salas – again, nothing special. Just okay at best, and definitely not worth the price.

Nice looking American style restaurant with fast service and friendly staff. Unfortunately the food is substandard and disgusting. I ordered a pulled pork burger ..which was basically bigos stewed meat stuck together to resemble a terrible attempt of a burger .it was also dripping in so much fats and oils that I worried I was going to drown . My partner ordered a pasta dish which was bland and stodgy and looked liked microwave reheated slop. This explains the fast service . The young "chef" looked well out of his league. In my opinion , number 2 worse restaurant in Olsztyn . Appalling. Looks are deceiving...
