The location has been an Indian restaurant for ages, but only recently did it become part of the Namaste group (there are three in the group, spread amongst various cities in Poland). I have enjoyed north Indian food all my life (my father, as an army officer with the British Raj, was stationed in India, and he passed on his love of north Indian food to me). Until now, living in Poznań has been a disappointment. There are numerous restaurants (many of them Nepali rather than Indian), but they've never been satisfying. Until now. Namaste is the real thing. I have now been twice. Last night I tried their Rogan Josh (mutton in spicy tomato sauce), which is originally a Kashmiri dish. I've had it in Srininagar, Kashmir. This may not have been quite on that level, but it was very close. And I was very happy with it. Their naan bread is excellent, chewy, just the way I like it. Last night I had the pudini paratha. Superb. I will keep coming back and don't expect ever to be disappointed. Prices are fair. Service is friendly and well-meaning. Selection is great. ONE THING TO NOTE. The menu indicates which dishes are spicy. But the scale is spicy according to Poles, not spicy according to Indians (or Brits, or Americans). So if you want your food spicy you must say and you must be clear about it. Last night's Rogan Josh, which I asked to be spicy, could have been a lot spicier and I would have loved...

I would totally recommend this restaurant. The flavours, portions, ambience, staff everything amazing and made it a nice experience. I really appreciate that the chef used whole spices in paneer tikka masala and that it was charred to perfection which enhanced the taste. Daal makhni was a bit sweeter for my taste but i guess it has been accommodated for polish market. Naans were beyond amazing. Love!!! Samosas were also good. Can be a made a teeny bit spicier...

if you are craving for Indian food, this is a place I would highly recommend. The food is awesome. Close to what we get in India. We got a very good service even when the place was jam-packed. On top of it, we had a chat with the owner and got the insights on his incredible journey of setting up this restaurant. kudos to him for recreating an environment that represents the Indian culture. I would definitely go there again when I am...

On our sixth night in Poland we succumbed to some proper English spicey food. Paulicarus needed spice. Booth needed Cobra beer. Shared a huge mixed Pakora starter. ( chicken, paneer, onion, cauliflower, broccoli.) Almost full after this . I guessed correctly that a mutton vindaloo in Poznan was slightly hotter than a UK slightly peppery Korma. Big portions. Five chicken breasts made up the tikka. Giant naan. Lovely rice. Good attentive service. 217 zl.

It was a very nice experience! Just a short walk from the main square in Poznań you can find this Indian restaurant with delicious food and good service. Went for max spice and it was good for us, all the food was really tasty. Good choice of vegetarian too as that was important for our visit. Please note that the staff speaks English not polish. Have to say one of best indian dishes that I have had in Europe. Recommended. 👍👍👍😋
