Took my girlfriend here for a meal, and it did not disappoint!!! Employees were very helpful and welcoming as well as funny. The open plan kitchen and seating areas gave you a chance to see the food being prepared, which made it feel homely. Food was well presented and had a good level of flavour without being overpowered by spice. 🔥 🔥 🔥 The menu had enough detailed descriptions, which made it easy to select the food we wanted. Portion sizes were decent, and pricing was reasonable. Good selection of beers and soft drinks, but I'd have liked a lime in my corona. I can't remember if I asked, so it may have been available. The music was well selected and at a low enough level to allow for conversations to be had, as well as soaking up the atmosphere. Food was good, but I have to give 3 stars because when I kindly asked for some spicy sauce (I ordered 2 kinds of semi-hot salsas and it was not spicy enough for me) I was told to come to the bar and order it by myself. I was like - ok, I just did it but no problem, I can do it again, but when I came to the bar and asked for something spicy again I was given raw habanero pepper right to my hand. Like it was something weird to ask for spicy sauce in mexican restaurant. Not to mention not even responding us for our „goodbye” (except one very kind polish-speaking girl which was very nice from the beggining) which was like a cherry on top and made me share my opinion here. Northern California Perspective I was really dissapointed by the tacos. I give them 1 star for the food, another star for the people working. They were very friendly and welcoming. Another star for the spacious outdoor garden. The food. The tacos were dissapointing. Maybe the reviews hyped it up but yikes, I would not come back for the tacos. To top it off, I was extremely hungry and still couldn't enjoy them. The nachos was also so-so, store bought chips but the toppings were generous so that was ok. Maybe I am spoiled by the taquerias in California but yikes the tacos were not good. I was still hungry and decided to try the quesadilla. Unfortunately, I can probably make a better quesadilla.
