During my recent visit to Browary Warszawskie, I encountered a situation that may be important for first-time visitors to consider. I bought a small beer from one of the bars and intended to order food from Sobremesa Tapas. To my surprise, a waitress approached us and rather abruptly informed us that we were not allowed to sit at their tables (in the middle of the communal sitting area). We found this rather confusing, as the central courtyard has an open layout - a concept that typically encourages flexible dining from multiple places. Not there, not in Warsaw. This situation was not only disappointing but also handled in a rude and unwelcoming manner, leaving us with a negative impression. I suppose this might explain why the place was almost empty, with plenty of vacant tables. It could be worth reconsidering how customer service is delivered. Allowing guests to sit freely would naturally attract more attention to the restaurant, encouraging spontaneous ordering and ultimately supporting business growth through increased visibility and...
Read moreI like the atmosphere in this place on Saturdays, with live music and dancing sometimes. However, the food is not perfect and is getting worse. The menu was recently updated and Gambas Pil Pil, which actually resembled the original Spanish dish, was substituted with another shrimp dish with Chorizo which has a smaller portion of shrimp and tastes ok, but instead of oil, some tomato sauce is used, so it was a disappointment. Other dishes and drinks could be better too, the Tortilla Omelette is super dry inside, Agua di Valencia hardly has any orange juice in it (supposed to be orange color, but here it’s transparent) and the serving of it and Sangria is sad (in whisky glasses, really strange). I mean a nice place could be improved easily if someone cared more. Will still be back and hope for...
Read moreI would say the food was good… do not order churros! Churros were not at all even close with the oryginal… they were soft as they were warmed in a microwave. Sangria was really good. Tapas were nice. The place is very cosy and the service was good. Unfortunately the dessert is a big “no”. Tortilla de patataj was ok… but it was more polish style… was not sure tic at all… was very crispy like placki ziemniaczane that are a polish dish. Tortilla is never so fried and so extreme hot. I guess for me it was once in time to go there and I will not come back. But if you wanna give a try… I would! Of course we did not try all… pimientos were very good and calamares. Patatas bravas were ok… but as well not...
