Bydło i Powidło — Restaurant in Warsaw

We were two people, and both of us ordered the Royal burger. The price of this burger was nearly double that of a regular burger, so we expected something extraordinary. To our disappointment, there was nothing special about this burger. We also noticed that the neighboring table, which ordered a regular burger, received the same size and a burger that was very similar to ours. We do not recommend spending money on the Royal burger. We also ordered oysters with Parma ham and carpaccio for starters. In the case of the oysters, the Parma ham and sauce overpowered the taste, and one might as well have eaten it without the oysters. The carpaccio was decent, but the sauces were not the best we have tasted.

In our opinion, this place is highly overpriced. The food is okay, but not good enough to justify these prices. Another downside is the lack of an English menu. Considering the location of the restaurant, it seems strange. It is also not possible to find an English menu on their website.

There are many other restaurants in the area that we would recommend instead, offering food that is just as good and at more...

Edit: I got an allergic hive reaction 3 hours after eating ordered burgers on 11.04 in the evening! This was my first and only meal of the day. I have never had such a reaction to any food before or never had any dermatology problems. Now I am taking pills for it. This place was decent years ago but now it's crowded, uncomfortable, expensive and with bad service.

The smell and the slow service... so the boss had enough of money to double the size of the places and put twice more tables but no money for bigger kitchen or ventilation. Nicee🤑👌

❗This is the only place in Warsaw where I had to literally enter into a thick fog of bbq fumes. It's funny how people were dressed fancy drinking cocktails and literally sitting and chilling surrounded by a fog of bbq smell. 🤣

Medium rare burgers were overcooked

I don't support restaurants who punish customers that they bring friends (a.k.a more customers) with 10% service...

BYDŁO i POWIDŁO is hands down one of the best places in town for a truly satisfying burger experience. The meat was exceptionally good—juicy, flavorful, and clearly made from high-quality cuts of beef clod. The fresh ingredients used in every burger really elevate the flavors, making each bite a delight. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, always making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal.

I did order my burger medium rare, but it came out closer to medium, maybe even slightly more done than expected. However, the overall taste and quality still made it an excellent meal. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere adds to the experience, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious comfort food.
