Out of the three cat cafes we've been to in Warsaw, I'm afraid to say this was the most disapointing. If it had been marketed as primarily a board game cafe that just happened to have cats, I'd be much more generous with the review but alas, the cats in a cat cafe are supposed to have the spotlight and that just isn't the case here. Additionally, service was a letdown. We were not offered menus and could only choose from the drinks written on the wall- I had thought there was breakfast food from pictures in other reviews, but we didn't see it listed. Very small space and surprisingly crowded for a weekday afternoon, although the turnover was fast. You need to come pick up your order from the counter and also bring all your dishes back out again, which is a big hassle with the stubborn gate door. Cakes did look beautiful and the croissant we got (rather than the full breakfast we had been hoping for) was very tasty. Tea is 12zl for one cup of basic black, and we were not offered sugar, honey, milk or anything at all to go with it. Menu and rules are not in English. The title on Google maps says children are not allowed, but alas there were two young kids in the cat area while we were there. Only saw one cat sleeping high up. A search around the little room revealed two more, also sleeping. They did not move the entire time we were there. A nice plus was that the bathroom has free feminine products for guests, which is a very nice and thoughtful touch. Maybe we were just unlucky to be there at a bad time, but the trip isn't worth going back...
Read moreI'm giving 4 not 5 stars only because of room for very minor improvements. While staying nearby we decided to select this place as per breakfast location. The staff was friendly and quick. You can choose whether you will sit in the cat area or cat free area. We ordered the breakfast bagel and English breakfast. Both were delicious and satisfying, but not heavy. The "bagel" was more of a roll just shaped like a bagel but it was still very good, and the eggs on it were nothing short of perfect. The sausages in the English breakfast tasted like slightly smoked berlinki, but overall the whole dish was still very good. For drinks we had cappuccino and latte. The cappuccino was great and the latte was lukewarm so make sure you tell them you like it hot if that's what you like. The presentation of the food was great as well. I would still highly recommend them despite slight issues. We will be back, and if things improve I will update my review. UPDATE: We went back for breakfast on day 2, we got the traditional breakfast and the crocque madame both were amazing. The crocque is big enough for two honestly. Coffees were good and hot, also quite strong today. Definitely recommend, I rarely give 5 stars anywhere but this place...
Read moreI went there once and i don't think i will go back. the tea is nice quality but too expensive. (4 € a tea) Without mentioning other products on the menu... very expensive. In Venice or Montecarlo with a panoramic view you can pay 4 or 5 euros for tea or cappuccino and service included and Warsaw is not Portofino or Miami but is the Capital Of Poland (ex socialist State of the Warsaw Pact. Here no service as well! You arrive and the woman at desk shout to you with polish mood and polish accent unpleasant. You have to order at the counter and not at the table. Then you have to go back to get the drink and when you're done, you have to bring the cup back and put it on a table (like at McDonald's)If she had asked me to wash it or put it in the dishwasher going directly to the kitchen I would not have been surprised. The sad thing is that the place is always full. This leads to food for thought on the intelligence and culture of the Poles. Penso I think it's a great territory to do business in Poland or Warsaw. Employee wages are low, domestic utilities cost less than in Montecarlo and Portofino, taxes are lower, but the prices of the coffe shop are very expensive...😝The conclusions...
