Croque Madame — Restaurant in Warsaw

The worst breakfast in WWA. Waiters are half-asleep, moving in slow-motion, constantly bumping into something and dropping kitchenware on the ground/table. You have to ask them multiple times for anything, because they keep forgetting to bring you what you asked for. They are walking around chaotically with the dishes not knowing who ordered this dish. They won’t pick up any dirty dishes from your table until you leave. We came there for breakfast and waited 10 minutes before someone came to our table with a menu, another 10 minutes for a bottle of water, and 50 minutes for a simple croissant with eggs and a toast with eggs where there weren’t many people. After asking for the 4th time about how long do we still need to wait, because they kept forgetting to come back with the answer, a waiter came to our table and said that his coworker should have told us at the beginning that the waiting time is around 50 minutes and they are sorry, but when new people were coming in, he wasn’t giving them this information neither. People sitting around us had the same experience and were upset too. Atmosphere around was really nervous and chaotic. Food wasn’t bad, but if you’re hungry and want to eat breakfast in nice, chill atmosphere, then I definitely don’t recommend this place + charging extra money for lactose-free milk is crazy when it costs the same as...

Do not recommend.

The service and waiters in general were ignoring and unfriendly, they in impolite manner asked us to not take additional chair as it was needed at the table for four people and then sat there only two people. In additional, they were arguing with other people where they can be seated, although the place wasn’t crowded at all.

The time of waiting for bringing the food was more than 30 minutes from ordering and as a result food was cold and did not taste good.

And the most important, I asked not put chives as I have allergy, but they brought my meal with a lot of chives. After I mentioned that I asked to prepare my meal completely without chives, they took the plate and remove some from the top, but in fact I received meal with chives remaining inside (under egg and inside the melted cheese for example, where it is difficult to notice). This is disrespectful and not correct, as this situation can be harmful...

The cafe's design and atmosphere and the food is really good and presented nicely. However the sevices is the worst I've ever seen. Have been there on two consecutive days and the first day there were only a few people so the time we had to wait for our food was quite long but still okay. On the second day however the service was absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of customers (merely 20-30 people) and their orders. After 20 min waiting to place my order II hav been waiting another 40 mins without coffee or food before asking for the status of the order. It turned out that they have forgotten it. Instead of prioritizing it and at least serving the coffee immediately there was pure helplessness, so I've decided to leave after one hour without coffee or food. It's a real pitty because the cafe and it's food is worth a visit but without proper service...
