Hi. I went there yesterday at 9 pm. The restaurant was rather full. We got a table upstairs by the manager (well at least he looked like some kind of manger) We waited a good 30 minutes without any drinks and to place our orders. They did not have potatoes (they did not have any potatoes the previous week neither). At some point, I went to the toilets, the ladies bathroom was really dirty and there wasnt any toilet paper, so I had to go the men's room which was absolutely dirty. 20 minutes after placing the order, I went for a smoke and the "manager" was talking over the phone while it was chaos in the restaurant (I heard many clients complaining, the waiteresses were making mistakes, many people were waiting ...). We waited another 30 minutes to get our drinks and food. In my plate there were potatoes (yes, they did have some finally) instead of vegetables, and these potatoes tasted really old. I think the most embarassing moment was the bill. First, they gave us the wrong bill, then, the waiteress asked us if she could keep the change (our bill was 84 and we gave 100, and considering the situation I did not want to give a big tip) so we had to say "no, we want our change"). Instead of going downstairs(as they normally do) to get the change, the lady took her phone to calulate the change, she took the change out of the wallet, we could see all the bills out of the wallet, while doing this her phone as still on the table, she pretended she could not find the exact amount, etc. I felt both sorry and embarrassed for her to be honest. As for another waiteress (not ours), she was being really arrogant when other people were complaining about their mistakes and things like this. If you don't like other people then you should not work in a restaurant. And when you have quite high prices for Warsaw standars, you have to have a good servicewith nice and professionnal people. The food was rather ok although my meat was undercooked. I recommend either to change the staff or to...
Read moreThis place has a few flaws, but only a few. Service timing is very good. The language barrier is a little difficult for myself as I'm learning Polish and sometimes my humility may make things more difficult for staff(asking if I seat myself, or if they are serving food etc.). Tank beer, Tyskie Piwo z tanka: Very cool and good taste, smoother and less crisp than regular Tyskie. Beer price is a little expensive for Poland. Could use more different beers, but that's my bias: can't ever have enough kinds. Decor is very nice with a short inner second floor. Rustic-ky wood everywhere. Food-wise I've had the grill mix. If you're looking for a meaty meal, it's a great mix of meats and veggies, good for after a workout. I don't like potatoes, but those potatoes are really good. There's also this mint pepper sauce that's really surprising and good. Food was cooked well except one time my veggie skins were tough, and the carrots have come cooked but cold each time(I don't know if that's normal, but they tasted good). Some of the cooked peppercorns aren't soft enough for my liking. Food price is okay. It also has wifi. So like I said, a few flaws, but really...
Read moreVery expensive and low quality. The Pljeskavica cost about 40zł and included a huge array of false information.
A Pljeskavica usually entails a sort similar dish to a burger, but here I only got served a bare burger patty (pljeskavica meat) without any bun, the meat didn't taste great, the "ajvar" was not a real ajvar but some tomato/patprika homemade ketchup and the "kaymak" was regular supermarket sourcream which is in no way similar to a kajmak fresh cheese, i don't understand why they lied about it, and why they serve me ketchup in a small vodka shot glass and call it ajvar. So overall I paid around 10$ for a bare burger patty without anything.
The only positive, is that the serbian beer they served there, was actually real and imported. The rest was fake branding so they can sell it for...
