From the very first moment, Bibenda impressed me. The reception lady was simply wonderful – calm, organized, and attentive even though the place was full and there was a line outside. I didn’t even need to remind her about my drink; she came back after a few minutes with a smile and found me the perfect spot. Everything felt cared for and under control.

The whole atmosphere is beautiful – you can watch the team at work, and it’s clear everyone is dedicated and motivated. The waiters are warm and welcoming, all spoke English (thank you, as I can’t speak Polish yet), and the kitchen staff worked with such focus and cleanliness. You can feel that the food comes from the heart.

The dishes were extraordinary – from start to finish, every bite was filled with love and creativity. Special congratulations to Chef Agata and the whole kitchen team for the amazing flavors, as well as the servers and cleaners who keep everything running so smoothly. Even the wine recommendation was spot on, and the dessert was just wonderful.

Prices are very reasonable for such quality, which makes the whole experience even more special. Yes, you may wait a little (30 minutes is possible), but with one of their amazing cocktails in hand, it’s absolutely worth it.

Congratulations to the whole Bibenda team and to the creator of this concept – you’ve built not just a restaurant, but a place full of love, energy, and incredible food. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll recommend Bibenda to...

-Spectacular food-

First off: we might have been lucky to get a seating spot right after they have opened. Make sure to drop in early.

The waiters are young and very friendly. They have created a comfortable atmosphere for all guests.

menu - Easy to understand and great variety of tradition polish-inspired dishes taken to a modern interpretation. Elevating it to a plant-centric point of view. What is great, is the changing of the dishes every few months. There will be a normal a la carte menu and a special menu with 3-4 options of seasonal and regional produce.

food - Having have had multiple drop ins at restaurants with dedicated plant-based menus (some with Michelin stars and some aspiring to) Bibenda took it for us to a next level. The dishes are constructed in a way, that you to some degree understand the idea. Once dish arrives at your table, the expectation built up is even blown out of the water! Each ingredient itself might as well be a dish of of its own. In combination it was just brilliant. Each ingredient was able to shine, yet was well composed next to the others. Make sure to order multiple dishes! Each dish ordered was prepared for sharing.

And the best of it all - the price point. Very affordable dining experience. Next time we will make sure to browse the wine menu, since we were on our way to the airport.

This will easily be a 10/10 recommendation.

You know what, it didn’t do it for me. I’m not going to give a worse rating then the 4/5 because on the whole the food was (very) good, the natural wine selection nice and there was definitely a skilled staff here. But you can read about the good things in other reviews; I’ll explain what I didn’t like. There is no way to reserve, so you have to wait in line. We arrived very early to beat this, still we were made to wait while a queue formed behind us. Not weird, you may think, but as we were shown a table we noticed many empty tables inside. This gave me the impression Bibenda wants a queue to be visible outside. Why else make people wait outside with ample seating inside? Then: it took a while for us to be served, many staff walked past but didn’t stop. When we were ultimately helped, we thought it was because our server was in charge of this section of the restaurant. That turned out not to be the case, as we were helped by other servers alongside our first member of staff. Each of these were friendly and helpful, it just felt weird that each of them ignored this area before (not just us) and then suddenly did arrive with food. So.. unclear system. Then, while the restaurant filled further: “our” server proposed some wines but she rushed through a well-known wine story. So all in all; I think I expected more. While it must be said that the food was good and we were helped in a very friendly fashion, I didn’t get...

The food was absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault it. We had the fried chicken, crispy pork belly and ordered the spicy sausage but never received it. This is where it went downhill. We came as 2 couples and we knew it might get confusing if we ordered more than one dish per person. We wanted to try several things on the menu so my partner and I ordered a third dish and made sure she knew we ordered another one. The food came out quite staggered so one person had finished before the rest came out. We asked for 2 extra plates so we could share the food between us but were only given one. We had all finished 4 dishes and still waited for the spicy sausages. Since we were sat outside the waitress came around less frequently so we waited for quite a while. When she finally came over we asked for our 5th dish and she said we never ordered it. Oh boy. But this didn't come with an apology or acknowledgement that this was a small mistake on her behalf but a rude explanation of her saying she never heard us say we wanted the dish and then asking us if we still wanted it. We said yes and she walked off. Less than a minute later we decided her attitude was enough to ruin the atmosphere and we went after her to cancel the already late order. We split the bill and left. 2 stars for the food and the restaurant decor.
