Jabeerwocky Craft Beer Pub — Restaurant in Warsaw

Walked in on the 23rd at 10pm. and was told they were closed. nothing mentioned on social media. the girl behind the cash was then super condescending going on a rant about how the 24th is special in Poland. As she was not aware, i know VERY WELL about Polish culture and traditions. all I needed to know is that they were closed and come back another time. but nope, this person went off very rudely about this. I have literally traveled the planet drinking beer and heard good things about this place. I, in good conscience, can not give this place my business. not now or ever due to this one girl. I will convince others to look at other places in the area for their craft beer needs as the girl clearly doesn't know anything about customer service. I hope management takes the right steps to teach this girl about basic customer service skills or ask her to find employment elsewhere. She is the front facing employee of Jabeerwocky, and if the management is confident about her skills and service, then maybe everyone should look elsewhere. I can recommend...

Great place for a craft beer.

Fantastic location in the centre of the city. Spacious venue in a historic tenantment building.

Very good selection on tap (a wide price range) presenting a mix of Polish and foreign crafts. Accompanied by many more bottled. Always on offer beers brewed by the manager (a brewer) and owner (a well known international beer judge) in collaboration with various Polish craft breweries. Two British style pumps, some fine spirits and usually some craft ciders.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Lots of space, but may get rather packed and frantic in the evening.

Very nasty staff. The little woman with the tattoo on her face needs a new job. She clearly hates this one. I know we all have bad days but you must be really pathetic to take it out on your customers.

I was sat at the bar and had to witness her nastiness over and over. One poor girl was trying to order in polish and angry-tattoo-face shouted out her and said “just speak English” and made the girl feel bad for trying. But then she was getting angry when people were ordering in English. You just can’t win!

Other than this nasty little troll, the other guy behind the bar was ok. Service was slow. Pizza is as just ok. There is better to be had...
