Kufle i Kapsle — Restaurant in Warsaw

Now there are more pump bars around in Warsaw, it is no longer anything special. Now it's simply a great place to go and have a decent beer (they have a good selection on tap constantly rotating, but with favourites often popping up). It's relaxed, friendly and the staff know what they're talking about.

Edit: - after a long period of visiting weekly, my last experience there was a negative one. A friend and I both complained about flat beer with a definite chemical taste that was not normal. The young guy at the bar admitted that they were the last ones pulled out of the barrel, but refused to admit there was anything wrong with the obviously flat and not great tasting pints. We ended up going down the road instead. Shame. It's still a decent place, but the service that day was poor. Not sure if/when...

I am sad to give just one star. The place looks pretty cool, I guess we were just unlucky. Arrived around noon on a Sunday with my friend to have a coffee and something to drink before our train trip. The service was just terrible, I guess the bartender was on drugs or seriously hangovered, otherwise I cannot explain it. Completely confused, asked the same things all over again, wasnt listening to what I was ordering. Poured juice over my friend and broke a cup when making coffee. Said to come for the coffee in 5 minutes, when I did, I was not recognised, coffee was not ready. I tried 3 more times. Asked her colleague who was very rude to me and said "I have no idea, you have to ask my friend". When finally coffee was done, it was poured again. Hopefully next time I am...

Always good, always crowded, something testifies to the great popularity of this place. I recommend this pub for its fantastic and wide selection of craft beers. Although the crowdedness can sometimes bother you, the atmosphere and service certainly make up for it. This is an ideal place to meet friends and relax in a good atmosphere.
