Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Warsaw

I’m an international student in Warsaw. I went to Arkadia after my class, and I know pizza hut is a really popular in world wide. That’s why I decided to eat there. I sat on a chair and expected someone to take my order. A woman came up and asked what do you want to order in Polish and I don’t know Polish . So I kindly asked can I give my order in English. Then she was like “No, only Polish” and left. I’ve been in so many branches of Pizzahut in worldwide like US, Germany, Egypt. Never seen a treatment like this. I hardly suggest people to not go there. I worked as a waiter when I was a student. I know their mood, it’s not easy to work. But never saw a rude treatment like this. When I visited, there were only 5 tables occupied, and there were 4 staff members working in the dining area. It was clearly not busy at all. However, we had to wait 30 minutes after sitting down before anyone came to take our order. During those 30 minutes, Polish customers who arrived after us were able to place their orders within just 3 minutes. It felt as if the staff didn’t want to serve people who didn’t share their skin color, as they actively avoided making eye contact with us.

Even when I tried to get their attention, two male staff members and a tall female staff member completely ignored us and walked away, even after making eye contact. How is it possible for the staff to behave like this? If you’re not white, I wouldn’t recommend visiting...

The person was not clear. There was a notice which said 50% off on the 2nd pizza. We sat on the seat, asked the person if this offer is valid, he says yes, we sit and order 2 pizzas pointing that offer. He gives us the 2 pizzas and charges for 2 without discount and then points a side note where he says ‘take away 10 mins’. Ridiculous behaviour:

1. he knew our order was based on it and could have clarified it when we sat.

2. the menu could have been clearer that it was applicable only for take aways.
