When I — a single diner — arrived without a reservation, the restaurant was almost full and a large group set to arrive, but the waitress juggled some tables and found me a private corner. A dish of olives started things off. The duck ravioli was incredible: light and delicate with walnuts and a lemon butter sauce. The by-the-glass red was a velvety primitivo. The waitress recommended the tiramisu for dessert and I’m glad I listened to her. It was a creamy bowl with a dusting of cacao, atop crunchy almond biscotti chunks.
