I recently had the opportunity to dine at Art Restauracja Wrocław with a coupon given to me by some friends. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing, to say the least.
The asparagus soup, which was meant to be the appetizer, was watery and lacked any discernible flavor. It tasted more like a mixture of flour and water than an actual asparagus soup. I would have appreciated it more if it had at least some distinct taste.
Moving on to the trout, it was passable but slightly undersalted. While it didn't ruin the dish entirely, it was clear that the attention to detail was lacking. On the positive side, at least it wasn't overcooked, which would have made it truly unpleasant.
The cauliflower served alongside the main course was bitter and virtually inedible, so I opted to leave it untouched on my plate. It's disappointing when a supposedly well-prepared vegetable falls short and ruins the overall dining experience.
However, the saving grace of the meal was the potato croquettes, which had a satisfying taste. They were flavorful and provided some much-needed relief from the disappointments of the other dishes. It's a shame that the rest of the meal couldn't match the quality of these croquettes.
For dessert, I decided to go with the creme brulee, hoping for a sweet ending to the meal. Unfortunately, it too fell short of expectations, lacking any significant flavor or depth. It was yet another disappointment in a string of underwhelming dishes.
Overall, my impression of Art Restauracja Wrocław is that it is a wasteful use of quality ingredients. The lack of taste and attention to detail throughout the meal is indicative of a chef who seems to have lost their sense of flavor and creativity. Considering the above-average pricing of the restaurant, it's a shame to pay for such a lackluster experience.
The restaurant's name suggests an artistic touch in their dishes, but there was nothing remotely artistic about what was presented. I believe I could have created a far better meal in my own kitchen. I cannot recommend this restaurant to others, as there are much better culinary experiences available in the area for the same price range.
If, by some chance, I receive another coupon for this restaurant, I would rather sell it than subject myself to another disappointing...
Read moreIn short: this hotel restaurant is perfect in terms of every perspective.
My girlfriend and I went into this restaurant at around 22.30, and the waiters still welcomed us. We ordered grapefruit juices, beef cheek, chicken soup, duck fillet and pork loin. All of them tastes excellent. Even if we finished our meal late (around 23.30, which is 30 minutes later than the official daily closing time of the hotel restaurant), the staff still maintained their high standard of service, and served the food in the starter-and-then-mains order patiently. This hospitality and politeness is truly exceptional. We are simply university students and are no upper-class people. I therefore highly recommend...
Read moreWe had dinner there on New Year's Eve, the tasting menu. It was very disappointing. The food had been cooked for too many hours, the pâté was hard, the soup was cold and the main course was horrible. It was expensive and none of the four of us liked it at all. Regarding the service, we have no complaints but it is true that we miss some animation and festive atmosphere. We are Spanish and we found the atmosphere too calm for the night in question, although this may be a...
