RE.BRO – Ribs, Burgers & Slightly Confused Linguistic Realities
There are times in life when you don’t want culinary fireworks or foie gras foam—just good ol’ American diner-style grub that hits the spot without making you question your life choices or your bank balance. So, armed with hunger and Google, I found myself directed to this little joint—RE.BRO—tucked down an unassuming street in the heart of Wrocław. Quiet, almost suspiciously so, until I walked in and realized the quiet wasn’t from a lack of people—it was from the sheer amount of English being spoken. For a moment I thought I’d stumbled into a covert expat meetup or the set of Love Island: Wrocław Edition.
Now, let’s talk menu. It’s what I call “reliably safe.” You won’t need a translator or a sommelier—unless you’re that person. Wings? Check. Ribs? Check. Burgers? Obviously. Steaks? You bet. It caters to everyone, as long as “everyone” has a vague craving for meat.
We started with the buffalo wings which were sufficiently messy and spicy—the sort that make you question why napkins aren’t made from Kevlar. I went full carnivore with the ribs—tender, sticky, and happily not pretending to be anything other than what they were. My friend had the steak and gave the satisfied nod of a woman who’d just wrestled a medium-rare beast and won. High praise, indeed.
However, it wasn’t all star-spangled perfection. The corn on the cob? Let’s just say it had more in common with insulation foam than a summer BBQ. And the coleslaw? A blink-and-you-miss-it cameo that deserved a bit more screen time. Still, minor quibbles in an otherwise meat-fueled escapade.
The service? Pleasantly nonchalant—no forced smiles or interpretive dance explanations of the menu, just straightforward, efficient, and refreshingly normal. No one tried to upsell me truffle oil or Himalayan yak shavings, so that's a win.
In the end, RE.BRO gave us exactly what we wanted: meat, minimal fuss, and a solid night out that didn’t require a loan application. A decent experience, wrapped in ribs, sauced with sarcasm, and seasoned with English chatter in the middle of Wrocław.
Would I go back? Sure. Especially if I’m craving diner vibes, a casual chew, and another episode of...
Read moreUpdate to answer the reply of the establishment:1) there is no size choice for burgers at this place. In the menu you get to a generic weight number for ALL burger and you can't choose sizes for each burger, as the owner tried to make you assume (see image attached). So if you want a burger (like the ReBro cheeseburger I got) you're stuck with dwarfed size to rip you off, or you need to change the burger type itself. You still don't get any much bigger.. The generic weight added to the menu (see image, "280-350g" means nothing specific) seems like another blurry attempt at hiding their downsize strategy 2) using business lingo will only bring you so far. Just because you try to deflect a review, doesn't make you any better.. Update 2: for those reading this and wanting a good burger for a great price, "Meatologia" in town does almost twice the size, has way much better and more curated meat choice, twice the fries amount and taste and a much gentler and down to earth/no business bullshit service. Go there.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at RE.BRO in Wroclaw, Poland and I can't stop raving about it. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a wonderful ambiance that made me feel right at home. The cozy and trendy decor, paired with the warm lighting, created the perfect atmosphere for a great dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at RE.BRO is a burger and steak lover's dream. The selection of burgers and steaks was expansive and each dish was more mouthwatering than the next. I opted for the classic cheeseburger and it did not disappoint. The patty was cooked to perfection and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. My dining companion ordered the steak and couldn't stop raving about how tender and juicy it was.
To top it off, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Overall, I can't recommend RE.BRO enough. Whether you're in the mood for a delicious burger or a mouthwatering steak, this place has it all. And with the wonderful ambiance and top-notch service, it's the perfect spot for a memorable...
